19:00 , dude I used to own a pair of cowboy boots , their great but its too formal for me , I don't like dressing too formal , I prefer the basketball sneakers over the cowboy boots but I've seen some cool cowboy boots made of all types of skin , I don't like the lizard skin or the snake skin because I'm opposed to the skin and fur trade business , I think it needs to be shut down , but the cowhide ones have some cool designs , especially lucchese , your never suppose to tuck in your boots unless your working at a ranch and your never suppose to wear it with a formal suit and tie , their designed to be causal wear , don't ever tuck in your boots in public unless your moving hay at a ranch , unless you want to look out of place . The Texas rangers are the only law enforcement agency that have cowboy boots but its not a formal dress code , they wear khaki pants and a tie so its not a suit , its more casual wear
Can you put a link or where to buy a 06 hat like you are wearing and other apparel? That would be a cool way for me and others to support them. I didn't see anywhere to buy them on their website.
I have been in the West since the end of April exploring, house sitting and meeting people from all walks of life. This family is very representative of the folks that I have met. This journey has created a new found appreciation for the diversity of landscapes of our country and the people that inhabit it.
The ladies are great spokesmen for the brand and the lifestyle.! The girlfriend. The young wife. And especially the 06 Mother/Wife, she was the Star of the show! Again... What a Woman!
This brought tears to my eyes.. I came from a small island 10,000 away from the USA.. I moved first to LA and then moved to TX. Let me tell you, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. The people are some of the nicest people I’ve met. I met my husband here in TX, she’s right, they’re a gentleman. He always opens the door for me. Please don’t judge them just because they are different than you are. Don’t judge them because they don’t have a college degree. They are some of the smartest people that know how to go through life. Thank you Peter and thank you 06 family. Thank you to all the ranchers and farmers that have been faithful and working hard so that we have food in our table.
I dont understand why some people dont want to think about the truth and reality of life! It has always been this way, from the beginning. I respect and honor these ranchers working their butts off day in and day out to bring America great meat sources. They are trying their best and they care 10000 percent! Thank you 🙏
This is my 11year old daughters big dream in life. Moving across the atlantic and working on a Texas ranch. So cool to se this lifestyle and work beeing done old fashioned way and with knowlage and quality!
This is exactly what I don’t want to see disappear. I’ve always loved ranches and horses. Every time I turn around, I see developments that eat up our ranching heritage.
I'm the daughter of a cowboy, married to a cowboy, and we are raising 2 cowboys. For me it's the best kind of life. Thank you for thoughtfully making this video.🐎❤
As someone who is friends with ranchers and I live in a ranching county in Texas, thank you soo much for this. These are, hands down the hardest working, most dedicated people you'll ever meet.
Thank you for allowing me to relive my memories. I’m 65 retired and lived my life working and hunting the “Davis and Sadie husbeth ranches in Ozona Texas. I got misty eyed watching your time at the O6 in the Davis mountains. It can’t be explained, It gets in your blood. I’m Texas born and raised but that country is my home. My dad told me that “this is where GOD spends his weekends”! No truer words were ever spoken. Thank you
Much respect for these ranchers. I am a 7th generation Texan, my family settled in Texas when it was a republic. My family were all farmers, just as tough a life as ranchers. We were produce farmers…provided food for the table all across the state of Texas. My dad was the last of the line to truck farm. Government ran them out of business. However, we retained our land here and I still live in the city I was born in. I’m 70 years old and have spent time traveling from the coast, piney woods, plains to the beautiful mountains of west Texas. I love my heritage and the great state of Texas.⭐️
Awesome stuff. This is the lifestyle I wish I had lived in. They all were very cool but Dawn wa really great. She had the right mix of cowgirl, business woman, distinguished lady, sense of humor and Mom, all built into one.
Peter, this Cowboys Of The West series, in my opinion, is the best you have done. These guys are the real deal. What humble and delightful people. You nailed it with this one. A fan in Spokane.
Dawn's smile is just contagious. She and her husband, with their family are just kind souls. I smiled at every joke they made along the way. I had to watch all of part one and 2 just to hear them talk in their kind voice
The family reminds me of my grandparents who lived a similar lifestyle, real cowboys. My grandfather was a mounted sheriff, a game warden, he had a small horse ranch and a number of businesses in Nevada. My great grandmother was a pony express rider in AZ and NV. These kinds of people are getting fewer and fewer. Hard working, straight shooters who are self reliant and fighting to keep a part of America that is quickly being lost. More people need to get out of the city and experience life on a farm, ranch or rural physical work. Learn where their food comes from and many other things they take for granted. And understand why these folks need to be preserved and protected because so much more is lost than just the family farm or ranch. These folks represent a connection to our heritage, the freedoms we created a nation and so many have died to give the rest of us, and without whom most of us would just be indentured drones.
I love Texas and enjoyed this series and this family. Hope they're able to hold on, and fight developers for generations to come. Thanks for sharing it with us.
My husband grew up on a small cattle farm in Arkansas. His dad taught school (as did his mom) by day and worked the farm evenings/mornings, and summers. His dad was a cowboy, riding his horse and using cattle dogs to move the cattle, until cancer made it too difficult to ride the horse, so my husband built a dune buggy off of a VW Bug chassis and frame. His dad worked the farm long past retirement from teaching, and did so until he had a stroke in his 70s and passed a week later. My husband’s character and work ethic were deeply shaped by life on the farm. I would say that all people who make their life and livelihood close to the land are some of the best this country has to offer.
You've made some impressive videos, covering different peoples and cultures but the two videos about these people and their culture has been my personal favorite at this point. Love these folks. Please let them know how much they are appreciated and how many prayers they've garnered from your audience.

They're true good folks. As someone who grew up my whole life in this type of lifestyle I can say that you won't find a better class of people than folks like these. That's not saying that there's not great people in other classes I'm just very partial to this style of life. It's the reason why I live in northern New Mexico in the mountains and have the lifestyle my family and I have.
That life was my dream growing up. I just knew I was going to marry Little Joe and ride horses everyday! I was lucky enough to know a Texas man who had moved to NC. Our home backed up to his small farm. He had cross neck trained (that’s what he called it) the horses so you used one hand to ride. Got a Shetland pony, later a quarter horse from him. Nicest man. Like a grandfather to me. Taught me the joy of riding. And the best beef jerky from TX! We need to preserve this way of life. Good food sources for our country. God bless you for continuing this life! Thank you Peter for getting this out for people to see!
This and the Amish is probably some of your best series. Really appreciate your work. I wonder if bringing things to the states has boosted your channel?
I haven't been a part of the ranch life for years, but it's what I was born into and have a huge appreciation, and it will never leave my blood. Thanks, Peter.

Peter after watching the video I totally agree, that you don't have to make these people look good because they do that completely on their own. Great video thanks for sharing man.
I love this series! So excited! These people are great, so welcoming and friendly. I hope their Ranch is preserved for generations to come, no more mini malls and cookie cutter houses. Reno the houses in the cities instead and make the neighborhoods beautiful again, and leave the vast ranch and farmlands alone. God Bless this Family and their Ranch!
Long time viewer and I must say I get tickled every time I see a new series upload! You are producing some of the highest quality, educating and enjoyable content! Thanks again Peter for giving us this experience!!!!
Absolutely love West Texas. I can't wait to make it back there to get away from the city soon. Thank you so much to America's cowboys and all the hard work these men and women do!
Thank you all for sharing your life. I think it's important for us to take a glimpse into other folks lives. The US has a ton of different cultures and subcultures. That's what I love about it. ❤️
Amazing family and way of life. I hope they are able to keep it going for generations to come. And my heart goes out to them for their loss. True American family.
Howdy Peter! Thanks for sharing that story of the wonderful people of the 06. We live in Granbury TX and have spent many summers in Ft Davis on a mountaintop that overlooks the 06 and other large ranch’s…it is Gods country and the people reflect that! Keep it western!
Wow so glad I found your channel a short while back! You really have a special gift Peter to speak to all types of people and show their way of living!! 🤗
AMAZING... NOTHING LIKE SUCH LIFESTYLE... THERE MUST BE REAL MAN TO LIVE IN A RANCH... NO MATTER WHERE... PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT REAL LIFE IS ALL ABOUT... GREAT VIDEO... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I love that lifestyle. I go up to a cattle here by Yosemite. I watch them brand and all. Love it! There’s nothing like it. I grew up in NY and NJ and I wish I’d grown up on a ranch or in the mountains. It touches my soul being around that way of living. ♥️
I really love their lifestyle! Being on open land with a horse is one my life goals and I think it's really cool they hurd the cows like that at the same time. This is pure skill and hardwork, respect and god bless to the Cowboys, Cowgirls, and you Peter! 🙏❤
Thank you, Peter. You did an awesome job showing our great state and our cowboys. A very special breed of people. What a lovely family. Beautiful ranch.

Here’s an idea. You should bring the gang dudes to the ranch and the Amish guys to the hood.

The O6 ranch family is just AWESOME! Thanks for showing us another side of the world! 👍🏽
Real life, real people. Thank you Peter for bringing this to us.
Another great episode. *Peter is an ambassador to the world.*
AMAZING... NOTHING LIKE SUCH LIFESTYLE... THERE MUST BE REAL MAN TO LIVE IN A RANCH... NO MATTER WHERE... PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT REAL LIFE IS ALL ABOUT... GREAT VIDEO... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Good job Peter. I've known the Lacy's since the 60s. The ranch and the cowboy's are true grit.
I love that lifestyle. I go up to a cattle here by Yosemite. I watch them brand and all. Love it! There’s nothing like it. I grew up in NY and NJ and I wish I’d grown up on a ranch or in the mountains. It touches my soul being around that way of living. ♥️
I’m from Brazil 🇧🇷 been blessed living in America dream at the ranch in Texas 🤗🐄🐃🐄👢👢🐶💃🏻
This one was one of your best videos.
Lovely Family.
Thanks as always Peter man
Respect... and thank you o6 Ranch for showing real farm life to the youth
I really love their lifestyle! Being on open land with a horse is one my life goals and I think it's really cool they hurd the cows like that at the same time. This is pure skill and hardwork, respect and god bless to the Cowboys, Cowgirls, and you Peter! 🙏❤
She is a good spoke person with a softy voice, very nice good job out of her.
If everybody in your community works hard like this, there's a bond, a connection...respect. So many communities in the cities lack this.
Kevin 👋
Thank you, Peter. You did an awesome job showing our great state and our cowboys. A very special breed of people. What a lovely family. Beautiful ranch.
Thanks!
Thanks Cholula!
Just feels like Louis LaMour books coming to life!
