How very interesting. I can't imagine getting teary eyed at a regular cemetery. I found myself getting emotional at times watching. It really is a testament to how much we humans love our animals of all kinds.
Thank you Kathy I really enjoyed the video I had my 2 Labs buried on my property which was in a rural area , where I lived for 30 years, so I can certainly relate to this video, you never forget the love of a pet. Hugs Bea
That was wonderful, we have lost a boy this week the third this year for my brothers family. So heartbreaking. I found your video so relaxing and consoling. My boys are buried at home. Thank you, you are a joy to listen to❤️
Very beautiful, Kathy..we love our animals so much. Sometimes they're better than humans. I wish we could've afforded to have that for my adult son's first dog, but, we couldn't. Unfortunately, we won't be able to do it for our current dog, Zoey, either. (I, personally, don't like mice or rats, but, that's just me). This was so touching; thank you for sharing. They deserve the honor. Stay safe and well! Rosemarie 💖
Beautiful video!! I had never heard of this cemetery. I hope there are many more. Pets mean so much and their life-spans are so short - giving us time for several painful losses in our own lives!! A lovely place. Thank you so much!(Thought I’d watch this during lunch, but even MY appetite didn’t last through tears.)
I cried thru all the editing. While walking thru the cemetery, I was sobbing like a baby reading the grave stones. The toys got to me too. I had to turn the sound off because of it and use music and a voice-over later editing the final video.
So many of the epitaphs were about loneliness. There were families among them, but it was so wrenching to picture an older human living alone, who had lost the light of their life. The music is perfect.
This was so beautiful, Kathy. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video. It brings to memory so many of our beloved pets who have passed away. Love to you! Jeanie xxoo
Hi Kathy, What a lovely place to visit, but also steeped in sorrow. I wonder if the benefactor ever imagined that her donation of land and property would be her legacy. Where I live in Vermont, we have an animal crematory. You can request your pets ashes and they are returned to you in a beautiful carved wooden box, with a death certificate. We have a little crab apple tree out back.where we sprinkle the ashes then paint/decorate a river rock to place underneath the tree. Whatever you do, it's the final goodbye to a loyal friend. Hugs, Cathleen
