I attended the 2003 west coast 100 year Harley-Davidson Anniversary party and concert at the Frank Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, CA. The main event performer was Dave Mason with surprise guest Kenny Wayne Shepard (also appearing were Eric Burdon and the Animals, Mountain, Vanilla Fudge and Brian Auger's Oblivion Express). I, a nobody, was lucky enough to obtain a coveted backstage pass provided by one of the H-D executives out of Milwaukee. Halfway through the lineup, there was a half hour break. I was in the outdoor backstage area where Harley-Davidson was providing the musicians and guests free food, drinks and deserts. I was eating my food seated in between Dave Mason and other aforementioned musicians listening in awe to them reminiscing about their times during the the 60's and 70's. I'm sure i looked gobsmacked when all of a sudden Dave turns to me and asked me how I liked the show. We had a conversation as if we were old friends, He was the nicest, down to earth rock and roll God you can imagine. It was, and still is one of the highlights of my life. I still have the H-D event t shirt hanging in my closet and have never worn it after all these years in order to preserve it. Thank you Dave for such a wonderful day! You are a true gentleman,
Saw Dave and his band last summer (2023) at Penns Peak in the Poconos PA... WHAT A SHOW! This man is amazing! Hands are still as fast as ever.. and his voice is still strong. Don't miss his show if they get close to where you live!
Of course he can - so can Rod - Don Henley on the other hand ....not so much - I can't believe people aren't making light of the fact he's using prerecorded backing tracts and Auto tune - He should be shamed over this - Dave Mason wouldn't go there - He's real
Dave's "Alone Together" album is an absolute classic piece of music from that era that still holds up with great songs and great performance from this incredible artist.
I had the opportunity to see Dave Mason in concert while a student at Morehead State University back in the late '70s. So many great songs! My personal fave is "Only You Know & I Know".
Wonderful love seeing older musicians who are still out there performing and continuing to compose great classics. Alone Together is on the Top Ten in my List of Favorites Thank you Dave for all the music you have written I have left to hear;). I'm 78 yrs young still rocking and a rolling lol thank you again;) Holly N Michigan not the UP lol Live in a retirement community only a couple of Hippies me and one other lol.
Such a great song I've been listening to since the 70s. Love Traffic and Mason, heard from a friend who saw Dave last year and said he was great! Maybe we should check it out cuz we're frequent concert goers. Hats off to Huckabee!

This is the one only Huckabee posting I've ever enjoyed. Dave Mason is the master. I see him live as often as I can. Incidentally, great new book, Dave. Interesting and well-written. Congratulations.
Did see Dave's Traffic Jam just last wk in FL...fabulous show! The man sounds & plays just as great as he has done years ago. All of his musicians in the band were awesome too especially with the addition of Mark Stein. Highly recommend catching this show if you can!

Dave Mason's "Alone Together" is my favorite record of all time and the man can still bring the magic.
The great drummer Jim Gordon was on all songs. What a sad story about him.
What a fantastic album....then and now..... marble color vinyl..... interesting
Never seen Gov Huckabee more genuinely awed by a musical guest, and rightfully so.
Now, play something, guys!
He hasn't interviewed me yet -
have loved Dave's music for more than 50 years.

He's got to be in his 70's. He can still sing!
I saw him two years ago in New York State and he was great. He said he was 76 years old.

Sounds great!! I just wish they would have done "We Just Disagree." That is one of my favorite songs ever!!!
Glad to see Dave still playing, and so well! I saw him twice in the early 70s. One of the best.
He likes to play a lot of small venues. I love watching his UA-cam videos. Never know where he's going to show up, like here.
Hes always been my favorite, love all of his songs still to this day, been a fan since 1975!!
Awesome show brother
Just read his new book. Highly recommend. Great guy.

Dave Mason is the best 👍
I saw Mason in Traffic in the 60s and he had a British accent. It was interesting to hear him speak with out an accent now. Thanks for posting.

So glad to see this. Listend to him for so many years. Hope he is saved

Oh my, the first time I've ever seen him, loved this song for 9forevers. And.......The Huck plays bass.
Mason can still kick it into gear!
Awesomeness
Can't believe Huckabee slayed that bass guitar.
Smooth crafty song , background singing great
Awesome feel good music.
Piano licks around minute 7:00 were worth waiting for!!!
Excellent
Legend
Going to see him in Aug
What class, the governor had the cameras on Dave and not himself.
Extra Tasty and Huck;s on base~!
He's 77 born May 10, 1946
Too Bad Dave and Steve Winwood can’t get along. That would be a Mega Tour!. Dave plays a Red Strat to Honor the Incredible Hank Marvin.
WHAT HAPPENED To DAVE MASONS Guitar level mix????!!!
Fresh from Mike's show.
Wonder if he knew Phil keggy
Phil is absolutely one of the greatest of all time! Too bad he wasn't the household name he deserves to be.
Mason is a class in his own...way to go Mike H...Dave lost his Brummie accent yrs ago
If U passed Huck a lit joint....would he puff it....??
If he hasn't perform with Elvis then he hasn't done it all.
What does that mean?
hope his health has improved
🌺 "Promosm"
WHAT HAPPENED TO DAVE MASONS vocal level!!!??????
Why can’t other Americans pronounce Joe Bonamassa’s name correctly geez
Prince probably beats Hendrix.
What a terrible pa mix for a musical icon! very disappointing! Couldn't hear his vocals or guitar parts!
God bless Dave ,,, Awesome ,,, & Humble Guy …
Awesome❤
