I learned how to engage with people in kindness and respect from watching Hugh. Twenty five years ago I heard Hugh debate someone. His opponent left an opening such that Hugh could have easily exploited causing him humiliation, but he didn’t. I left wondering how he could miss such a great opportunity to score against his opponent? Over the next two years I continued to watch how he interacted with others. Slowly I came to the realization that the way he handled himself was how conversations were supposed to go. Winning the person was the goal, not winning the argument. It’s hard to overstate the effect this has had on my life.

I feel like Dr. Hugh and Kathy are my spiritual family. I feel so loved when I watch and listen to his lectures and ministering. A spiritual love and understanding that I have needed for years... I am 79 years old now. I have been a Christian my entire life, but Dr. Ross has and is giving me a REAL depth and experience of God that has been missing. I love
Dr. Hugh and Kathy so much and thank our Loving God that I listened to one of his lectures on UA-cam by chance, and now I can't get enough of his Godly knowledge. I feel God's presence when I am watching the videos I am going to buy the books Kathy mentioned on this program. THANK YOU FATHER GOD FOR SUCH A PRECIOUS BLESSING OF YOUR TWO SERVANTS.

I love this guy but everytime he opens he says "Christians are rare in Canada" or words similar. My studies show me that 67% of Canadians are Christians.

I have been praying for a mentor who could confirm everything I feel/believe (not negative confession! positive!) about my autistic spectrum disorder challenges. I never imagined it would be Hugh Ross (old earth guy)! As I worked for TBN and followed him regularly and was (always) a fancier, I'm especially delighted that God used him for this specific aspect of my (deep, real) need for a mentor - the ether and YHWH's ways in it! I'm grateful also that it is both Ron Tucker and Mike Bickle (Wes Martin), both home churches for my family of 12, who God used to introduce this very key and needed topic of understanding and service in "church." It really should be "Eklessia", as the word "church is a blatant mistranslation and diametrically opposed in principle to what an "eklessia" is... but, off topic. Sorry. Thanks for your obedience to Holy Spirit Who, as TL and Daisy Osborn both testified on stage at Grace Church (Grace World Outreach Church - GWOC), "The Holy Spirit is out ahead of the Church!:" And I agree, Holy Spirit-full Grace Church fam. Thank you for serving honestly and powerfully. And YHWH's richest blessings on you, my Electric Universe friend, Hugh Ross. Thank you for your faithful seeking in YHWH's Science and for your tender devotion to the GREAT NEWS that we all have value and have been re-deemed for His Son's utter thrill! Shalom, Light Warrior!

It is both amazing and perplexing to me how Dr. Ross who is surely not the only highly educated and intellectual individual to analyze the bible, is enriched with all manner of compelling evidences never quite heard of before. Did God over-estimate the common individual's interpretative capacity ? Is this, Dr. Ross's unique conclusions, a function of his unique mind, or why does it seem like so many have been remiss ? If information, particularly, biblical truths, are only as useful and powerful, as is the reader-listener-interpreter's accuracy of intellect, then isn't there a period of loss or "miss" endemic to us ?
Were we to wait for a superior agent of perception to share nuggets here-to-fore unseen or made significant, before learning real truths from the bible ? Why ? Was this intended by our Creator ?

Well said! I’ve always thought this. Why if it’s so important and vital to our immortal soul, is it so hard for us to comprehend what Dr Ross has. How ugly that our society has withheld such vital information and how unfortunate that pastors in churches everywhere don’t teach what Dr. Ross does.

Dr. Ross explains in an earlier video about his life and growing up when he explains he grew up in British Columbia in the city of Vancouver. At that time he said Christians were hard for him to find in that city. He was more specific in that video.

@@v.j.l.4073 yes I heard that video and I disagree with that comment. There are Christians everywhere, and certainly all over B.C.

@@andreanittel2240 probably has something to do with the spectrum he talked about. Perhaps when he was young he couldn’t realize there was a lot of Christian’s around that city.
