KATO pronunciation: if you're familiar with the Japanese word 'arigato' (thank you), you will hopefully know how the 'gato' part is pronounced and therefore just switch the 'g' with a 'k' for 'KATO'. Japanese is a language where each syllable is spoken with the same length (KA-TO). The 'KA' part said in English might be pronounced with a slightly stretched out 'KAy' sound but in Japanese it is just 'KA' (more like the 'ca' part of car).
Interestingly, according to JapanDict, the word 'kato' is most used to mean ferry (the noun, not the verb) which of course carries people and things just like a train.

Thanks for that I remember hearing someone say it that way but sometimes your on the spot when recording and my brain just can’t think quick enough and dead air is a crime so I just do a traditional English butchering of the language 😆
