@@edithlopez8746 No necesariamente. Los de Sigur Rós también son islandeses y cantan en islandés y en vonlenska, un idioma inventado por ellos, hasta el día de hoy, y desde principios de los 2000 que son una banda internacional. Y los de Rammstein cantan en alemán, y son Rammstein.
Dark, mesmerizing, soothing, the athmosphere is really something that calls you. I can't stop listening to these talentuous girls. A real treat for the ears. Those screams, she is really a banshee, a goth banshee!! I longed for this for so long! Thanks for this magnificent piece of art.

KÆLAN MIKLA are my favorite band. I do believe they are going to be around for a very long time and will be very influential.

Thanks bandcamp for recommending me this through another artist, this is exactly what my ears like.
I am 58 years old. And let me be clear, I have listened to at least 120,000 bands and artists in my life. This band is clearly one of the all time greats. I love it when women can come up to the plate and demonstrate composition, atmosphere, musicianship, ideas that overflow, originality dare I use that word?), with great punching drums and driving bass with melodic keys and overtop vocals, well how can a band go wrong?

Hi, I'm a 55 years old guy, I love many kinds of music, but this is really special. I never heard about this band, but now I can't stop listen of their music.
Amazing, creepy and a nice beat, I don't know how to describe this kind of music, but this is a new generation I think. Next year I'll see Kaela Mikla in Brussels when these girls giving a supporting to Alcest. So pity it's not a full concert of them. I want to know more about these three special girls.

@@tubesolac It's true. It was a amazing surprise to discover them for me. And that my favorite music is symphonic black metal, and other types of metal. However, I also listen to other styles, such as hardcore, punk, post puk, speed folk, dark and darkwave, and I can tell you that these girls remind me of the greatest bands I've ever heard. I would love to see them live on some occasion. I hope you enjoy that concert in Brussels. Coincidentally I have someone very close living there and I will recommend it.

I usually enjoy bands like The Twilight Sad, The Cure, Crystal Castles and Hatari and I think this is a good mix of all of them. I love it.
Til now I've only heard that one live music video version of Næturblóm and now hearing this version is also quite amazing. Not sure which I like better, but this one has some subtle differences that make it really stand out too. That's such a great song and such a great ambiance they put into it. Really takes you places in the imagination.
I'm gonna learn Icelandic just to understand their music hahahaha

Sounds inspired by The Cure's 3 "goth" albums. Like the minimal arrangements. I prefer their synth arrangement vs the live instrument sound. Imo. I'm a listeners of these Iceland trio! Add to Byork and Aurora list.
Are we talking about the REAL goth trilogy: "Seventeen Seconds", "Faith" and "Pornography" or "Pornography", "Disintegration" and "Bloodflowers"? If it's the former then I totally agree. This band sounds a lot like the early stuff released by The Cure. Especially Maggy's bass. Sounds like Simon Gallup's in the early 80's.

i think its a great record . it would be nice to own a copy . i listen to a lot of music and i would have to say that there is nothing quite like kaelan mikla , i couldnt even say what genre it is . i also like the music of solveig matthildur . you blew me away , please make more music .
