Im from L.A. and visiting Chicago in a January so your L.A. and Chicago videos helped. Just bought a drone and didn't know there were all these rules, still cool though.
All drones must be registered, except those that weigh .55 pounds or less (less than 250 grams) and are flown exclusively under the Exception for Recreational Flyers.
@@johnathancabrera. One other question, for example if a cop came up to me while I’m flying my drone recreationally, what would I do? I looks like a lot of officers don’t understand faa/drone laws.
@@jnaviation8671 have the website pulled up already or screen shot it and maybe screen shot the drone you have and it’s specs. Like showing it’s weight.
Funny. Even though this film is old, city of chicago don,t want you to fly drones in their parks, water intakes, over prisons or police stations.
Yeah I tend to be very careful when it comes to flying my drone. I like to stay far away from everything lol

I just got my drone! I’m honestly kinda scared to fly it
Congrats!! What kind of drone is it?! First flight is always going to be tough, but once you try it and land it safely it’s smooth sailing from there.
Stop trying to scare people
