Alternatively, her invitation might have been prompted by Nawaz Sharif's desire for an interview; though that's purely speculative. In my opinion, Ms. Barkha demonstrates neutrality, similar to Mr. Karan Thapar. Non-partisan journalism, after all, is universally valued for its impartiality and commitment to fact-finding thus she is welcomed in Pakistan.
