- Life in Punkyville, Kentucky has always been a bit...unconventional, but when Will Blessing unexpectedly arrives, things really get interesting. Will comes with his uncle, Dave, a former rock star, who has been hired as the church's new choir director. Under Dave's talented leadership, the choir begins to thrive. Meanwhile, the mysterious Will begins to affect the town with a divine gift of his own. Faith, love and laughter intertwine as Punkyville becomes a town of music and miracles.

A pretty cool movie. It may sound strange but as I was watching this movie , i began feeling impressed to write a song. I have been known to write a few songs in the past but this was different the music to me was different than what I have written before so I had to stop the movie and started writing the song. It might seem odd that I am writing this in comment but I think there is the ability to receive in the spirit as watching this movie. Just felt to say this. thanks for sharing this with us. God bless

Lovely movie that depicts the book of 1John 4 that talks about showing love to others.Showing love to everyone even when it's not reciprocated can only be done through God's help.This movie is a blessing to me.Thanks for uploading it.

Love how everyone got together! That scene where the choir sung "Holy Holy Holy" and the angry guy shows up and sings beautifully - Loved that the choir group-hugged him. As I get older and and continue learning, I often ask God that I will never forget to pay His healing peace and love forward.
Praising God through songs always connects me closer to him. Beautiful movie. So many take aways from the movie. Give what you are blessed with, despite the outcome, and exchange peace. Thank you, for this wonderful movie.

This another one of those movies that I watch again and again and find new things and messages every time , I really like this one ! The messages are biblical and uplifting , promoting love to everyone . Especially those that need it most but may not realize it yet . I highly recommend watching it !
Their acting was good nice movie and it should portray more of the prince of peace our lord Jesus Christ and the Gospel message clearly as a suggestion that's what i'll say,God bless them all.

If you wanted "different" you definitely found a way to do it! Took a bit to get used to it, but it was a good movie.
What a mad film. IMHO, EVERY church needs a Jenny. Yet, as someone whose pastor once lovingly told him people had threatened to leave the church after I'd used the "wrong music" one Sunday, sadly, yes, I can relate to the challenge of bringing something different. The intention to give the best you have got, just gets burned at the stake on days. (Either that, or they just really hated Sting...) It's highly trivialised here, but the mob/crowd/congregation seem reeeally touchy about genre, instead of the words. So, doubtless you kids'll love the US garage rock in the film - and all respect to Mr Roessler - but for me, being 100yrs older, Brent Reed's adaptation of (or, perhaps new song based upon) "Amazing Grace" stands out above the rest.

I seen some Japanese kids once who acted similar. You could probably reach them for Jesus, with such a flick, in Japanese language .
I really liked their singing, once everyone could sing. Even when the young man came in to sing at 43:57, he was good also. Thank you for this movie, no swears or taking the lord's name in vain & women dressing without showing what they have up top. I've seen So called Christian/faith movies, have swears, takes the lord's name in vain & women having their chest half covered. How irritating it is, wanting to watch a Christian show & have those bad/worldly things in it. So thank you very much, for having a clean & decent show. It would of been nice to hear of salvation, talking about Jesus, having faith, believing in God & a prayer that finishes in Jesus' name.
