I have and odd suspicion that ghost was planning on joining shadow company. He’s gear resembles that of grave’s inner circle, not to mention he also worked closely with shepherd and the shadows. Most likely graves took a liking to ghost and thought he’d be a great team member, but for obvious reason that ship sailed.
