I could remember several years ago, I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with OCD. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. I used scissors to cut off the fully grown ones, and waited for the smaller/younger ones to grow out more. Instead of pulling and taking all of them at the same time. I got a higher yield that way.

I have never grown a mushroom, but I wondered why they cut the whole clump, the mature ones and the babies......too
@@carolburnett8372I don't cut the whole clump. I cut individual ones - only the big ones. And then leave the smaller ones to grow. I suspect, in this instance, they are mainly concerned about mass production. They only want alot of mushrooms within a small time frame (one day of picking after grow-out). It's usually a timed marketing thing.

Great technique for oyster mushrooms! I never thought of doing it that way, so I've got something else to try. One thing I wondered about is what kind of plastic bags did you use (and where would I find them). They looked just like clear rubbish bags that would be found in most grocery shops...is this correct? Anyway, thanks and more greetings from Australia! :-)

So I'm growing oysters myself, and I noticed that you put the mycelium close to the wall of the bag. Other people on UA-cam tend to mix it very thoroughly with the straw.
But I tried your technique and it works really well. Do you know the explanation for this? Why does it seem to colonize faster (or at least fruit faster) when the spawn is put at the wall of the bag?
Please explain the use of cotton and paper too.
