I've been playing bass and sang lead in many bands. Shit most ppl don't even know what a bass is. But ya, it's always a lead singer or guitarist that gets it.

Indeed it is. I play in a Mexican music band. Accordion, guitar bass. I've surprised different of ethnicitys when I invite them for a jam session. They don't understand a word but our music is really catchy. But yeah it's a ability one practices!!! I played different genres of rock and metal. But Ultimately fell back to my roots. DAM BOYS! SUPERB! Admittedly, I was a bit nervous at first .. but your musicianship shone through like a birthing star! You've all matured so much in talent, skill and command of your delivery! That was FANTASTIC! Coming from a 54 yr. old Metalhead and Tool music fan! I hope I'm still around to see you live in the United States on your first world tour! Don't give up on your dreams and most of all don't give up on each other!

You guys are great but man Kevin is a freak of nature on those drums. I’ve never seen anyone more comfortable and just straight having fun playing or doing it better than him. You guys all are talented but as a music lover watching Kevin go to town on his drums is absolutely epic to watch. The best full band cover of this song I've ever seen, and I've seen the Elephant Revival version. Seriously though, I've been a Tool fan since '95 and this is fucking magnificent.

Then, like me, you would know that the drumming was immensely lacking with numerous important parts overlooked (e.g. the double bass playing at the end of the song).
@@Virvum_Juggernaut you see, it doesn't matter! They sound great, they kicked arse! And if they were playing TOOL in my basement, I wouldn't be kicking them out because of a lack of double bass!

@@Virvum_Juggernaut what's the fun in a cover being exactly the same? why not just listen to the original track if you didn't enjoy it, and quit complaining. edit: the drummer is using double bass, he obviously knows the original way it was played, but he chose to play eighth notes instead of the quick double bass runs. Obviously he's not going to be as good as Danny, because he's one of the best most innovative drummers of all time, they're not in the same league. however he still did a great job, especially for a live studio recording
