Boeing management is responsible for every bit of this. It's corporate malfeasance at its deadliest, with no better example. EVERY Boeing executive responsible walked away scot-free. Boeing eventually said it "fired" CEO Dennis Mullenberg, but every news report at the time stated he retired.
After the recent incidents, Boeing's corporate management all did the same.
Their actions were/are the epitome of American corporate disregard for anything but their own profits.
Oh! To prove Boeing carries loser luck, had that door popped off when the jet had reached altitude, the outcome would have been much different...

Every company tries to screw the people as hard as possible before consequences. We need to fund regulators, prevent monopolies, and eliminate mandated products/services which will allow people to have options regarding their destiny.

If Trump is charge with contempt of Court, the judge may give Trump three choices time in jail, house arrest or be examine by three Doctors. For the three doctors, their judgement can't challenge by Trump. Knowing Trump, he will think that being examine by three doctors is the easiest path.

Chris another scary part is that on a flight almost at capacity, the seats just "miraculously empty ? ?" were the seats adjacent to the door plug, OR they knew that the pressurization problem arose from that door, and they hedged their bets by literally maintaining empty jump seats, next to the door. This would mean that Alaska Airlines was literally willing to take that risk, on behalf of the passengers. They knew the plane could pop like a balloon, they didn't know how, but they knew. How those seats were kept empty may be a bit of a scandal
I don't care for flying, even though it's the safest mode of transportation, IThey should put some kind of heavy duty air bags in them and outer deployment bags.
MCAS was a secret to everyone outside Boeing, at least in it's early days, including pilots and the FAA!

Many years ago I took a puddle jumper from Orange county AP to LAX and mid flight I happened to look down under my seat and to my surprise there was a tennis ball size hole with a clear view of the sky which was unnerving to say the least. I was given a free round trip ticket to anywhere in the US for my trouble and to make end this story I didn't take them up on their offer. Haven't flown the friendly skies since.
I've been at a couple crash sites. The tail section usually survives. I always ride in the last row of seats

Gotta be that guy ... no one gets SUCKED out of the plane, you get BLOWN out of the plane. When the air moves from large to small, it is sucking (you suck air into your body), but when it moves from small to large, it is blowing (you blow air out of your body).
I never take off my seatbelt or use the bathroom on a plane. If anything happens to me while the plane is airborne it will happen in the seat that I paid for not in some tiny bathroom in a compromising position.

They could've put in a backup safety mercury level switch but that's electro-mechincal and totally old-fashioned and besides mercury is bad for the environment (Or something. You wouldn't a gram or two of mercury released into the environment if the plane crashed...).
I used to load planes, and I used to load a lot of 737s!! They were, without a doubt the easiest planes to load!! I want to move that to loading larger Boeing aircraft, again, they were the easiest planes to load!! What I'm saying is, with the computer technology that we have right now, there is no way you can mis load an aircraft!! The only reason these planes are having any difficulty or are crashing, is because of Boeing corporate!!

Well in cars they were called dummy lights. A light on a plane or jet these are computerized none of my cars had a computer driving it . I bet most your cars didn't have a computer either. These damn new smart TV's start telling u batteries need changing yet the remote still works fine up to 3 weeks later. So idk dummy lights on TV's. But something that high up in the air and that big yes id check it out. I won't fly but I'm in the path to Logan airport so don't want them dropping or loosing something falling from the sky.

Re: Boeing. That's what happens when the CEO okays a design instead of an ENGINEER. FYI, Airbus ain't perfect. We nearly pancaked like France Flight 9... thing had a great tendency back then to "oops!" go nose up at 30-35k feet. I'd have splattered over West Virginia's pandhandles (yep, probably both) if not for the fact our pilot overrode the computer and manually dived us out of a stall. you want terror? Lose over 15k feet of altitude in less than 2 minutes. I know, b/c the guy across the aisle was TIMING it while the rest of us prayed, and the flight steward threw up, in a plane that had gone powerless! WHEE! Yeah, that just didn't make the news.... Lesson: MAKE SURE YOUR PILOT WAS MILITARY. THEY REACT BETTER.
The Boeing originally was designed to be lower to the so that the passengers could get it by the tail section without any airport equipment and easy access for maintenance. Low plane, low wheel gears... SO lot of savings. Now the same 737 fuselage needed new bigger cost saving engines. They did not fit under the wings without changing too many elements on the plane. These modifications would have needed a new certification.... many many hours of testing to satisfy the safety regulations. So they moved the engines in front of the wings creating a new center of gravity. MCAS was invented to compensate this new weight distribution. MCAS FAILED. Boeing cut corners to save money at the expense of our security. I blamed the change in Boeing philosophy since the merger with McDonnell Douglas. SHORT TERM PROFITS instead of REPUTATION. It's is SAD.

Just read about why so many *Israeli Jews* are protesting this massacre! Listen to the words of the hostage families and even some ex-hostages who DENOUNCE Netanyahu for putting revenge about the hostages safety - and we need to be honest, there are probably many hostages who have died from Israeli bombs - and Netanyahu and others in the government have answered "In war there are sacrifies for the greater good." *I* want the hostages returned, unharmed (as much as that is possible many are going to have emotional scares and PTSD and nightmares for life. Sadly, so does a *generation* of innocent Palestinian children.
You say don't compare this to the Holocaust, and yeah, it is not on the same *scale* but the motivations are similar. I can point you to pro-war UA-cam channels run by Jewish defenders of this one-sided "war" who say the worst things about the Palestinians, the most hateful rhetoric, - things that is said about the Jews would classify as "blood libel" - calling the Palestinians - not *Hamas* (who are EVIL I agree - but ALL Palestinians, even the *children* - calling them "animals", "inferior", "barbarians", "born hating", "violent from birth", "incapable of civilization", "don't love their children like us", "the best way to deal with them is a bullet" (not just about Hamas - to which I agree - to to the people as a whole) and on and on.
All admist some calls from them - and from the Israeli government to "finish the job...Gaza belongs to Israel" and "nuke them" and to get rid of all Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and replace them with Israeli settlements. These are "conspiracy theories" these are their OWN WORDS and you can read them! Read them from American and Israeli news sources...or said *on TV* and the radio.
I ask you Mr.Titus - how is that NOT ethnic cleansing? How is that not a "final solution" for the "Palestinian Problem"...? (Thise last things are my own words but I think they genuinely capture what is going on and the sentiment behind it.)
The 1st step to justify a genocide is to *dehumanize* the people you want to erase.
And you and I have heard the horror stories about October 7 - "babies killed and beheaded", "women raped and killled, their breasts cut off", "babies raped" and a list of atrocites - but you do not hear them repeated anymore because they have been debunked by independent news outlets, and investigative teams have found no evidence to support these claims. Even the *Israeli Government* has since retracted these claims.
It's insane to feel the need to embellish things that happened on October 7th because October 7 was already horrific as it really was. I saw film of people begging for help on the ground shot by these Hamas...*animals* (I will agree with calling *Hamas* that and other things, as they fit - but they do NOT apply to Gazan *children*.) I have read reliable accounts about how the Israeli victims did what they were drilled and told to do...they ran for the shelters...and Hamas *monsters* opened the doors and tossed in *grenades*.
Those things are bad enough without having to add made-up stories about beheaded babies. The was *one* Jewish baby killed on October 7th - shot through the door of his shelter in a parent's arms. ONE murdered baby is too many. There is no need to make up more of them.
But...if you want to justify what amounts to an attempted genocide and ethnic cleansing - it's easier to do justify when the targets are inhumaine monsters who behead babies and rape children and cut off the breasts of women.
