I am certainly deflecting and my plague weapon of choice is knife I use Sharp razors both And the heal on kill both And long dodges And more parry damage and crit parry and i do have luck on still i will switch when i have most plague weapon's maxed I alrady have blessing all 3 I have the mikiri jump I have enemy lose wound slower I have enery back on deflect and on attack 1 lvl on both I also have fast claws but I'm not such a fan i may switch as i use a knife i don't need claw They messed up by putting mutating first boss in first area he was too easy to farm as parry and knife breaks him
Thanks for great Thymesia video. I feel it has been such an injustice to Thymesia with all the reviewers comparing it to souls games and finding shortcoming compared to those games. So many scores have been below average. Tbh the combat to me felt even better than souls games based on the variety and playstyle.
Glad you liked it. I really like how they haven't just copy and pasted souls combat. Thymesia's combat is so smooth and fun. I wish there was voice acting though, it's weird that bosses will talk to you during combat via subtitles... It's like bro I'm trying not to die I'm not going to read that! 😅
@@norzza i did not realize there is something my boss is trying to say until you told me 😂. That light colour subtitle without a background color, who would even notice that during boss fight let alone reading the whole sentence. Voice acting department for this game was a place where they could have added so much with such little effort. Only a couple of voice lines from the bosses would have added so much depth to the character.
I always run healing execution and luck, and switch them out in boss fights for energy on damage and spec into healing for short claws. Never blocking, when you got the gameplay down it’s more rewarding. also you are genuinely scared because it’s easy to mess up but you are more engaged
It's because the game uses souls sysyems. Having to recover your souls at the spot you died or you lose them, using bonfires as checkpoints, unlocking doors and ladders as shortcuts, the list goes on and on.
What's your build in Thymesia? Are you deflecting or dodging?
I am certainly deflecting and my plague weapon of choice is knife
I use
Sharp razors both
And the heal on kill both
And long dodges
And more parry damage and crit parry and i do have luck on still i will switch when i have most plague weapon's maxed
I alrady have blessing all 3
I have the mikiri jump
I have enemy lose wound slower
I have enery back on deflect and on attack 1 lvl on both
I also have fast claws but I'm not such a fan i may switch as i use a knife i don't need claw
They messed up by putting mutating first boss in first area he was too easy to farm as parry and knife breaks him
Also i use long lasting potions
Knife also makes it easy to get 5 offensive buffs
Dodging
Deflecting hard
Dodging for now. I'm going to try blocking.

I wish it was longer. Or had NG+. I really enjoyed this game. Didn’t think I would as much a I did. Made me replay sekiro too
Thanks, that's an excellent guide!
Deflecting builds are so good you just gotta get timing down a little
Great video!
I haven't figure out how to jump yet lol
When a enemy try a critical, run to it and tap in the dodge key.
I can t understand how a so Quick combat system can be compared to a soul game, Only because game atmosphere Is similar to bloodborne (maybe)

@@iHaveTheDocuments the most important thing in a game is the gameplay, and i can t see anything similar in souls in combat system actually...
@@iHaveTheDocuments what you just said are only features of a soulslike, things that don t make a game a soulslike
