- ScreenX + 4DX combined Cinemas, give moviegoers 3 screens, plus motion controlled seating with environmental effects.
ScreenX is the world's first multi-projection immersive cinematic platform which provides moviegoers a 270-degree viewing experience by expanding the scene onto the side walls. So instead of 1 Screen you now have 3 Screens.
► How do ScreenX movies work?
There are essentially two stages of the movie-making process - Shooting and Conversion.
During the shooting phase, scene selection is thought of first, followed by simultaneous shooting with various camera setups. Then in the post-production phase, the quality is enhanced with VFX and colour grading.
The final phase is conversion. CJ 4DPLEX works with creators to create the ScreenX effect for an immersive experience. The movie is then sent out for distribution.

It would be even more cooler if it’s combined with the IMAX screen size and resolution, auro 3D surround sounds and DBox rumble seats (combines with the 4DX seats), but other than that: MIND BLOWN 🤯🤯🤯
And if they curved the screens as well
How would you combine D-box with 4DX? Also, you could instead have Dolby Atmos with THX certified surround sound. On top of that, having Dolby Vision with Onyx OLED screens. If it's going to have ScreenX side screens, the movies are going to have a huge chunk of them to be filmed for the format.
@@vgmaster9 the D-Box has the little option to turn up or turn down the shakiness and vibrations
Can't wait for the movie where a hail of bullets in the movie happens and the theatre recreates the experience!
This shouldn't be as funny to me as it actually is.
I will always go to the movies no mater how big my home screen is.
They should make all the screens in ScreenX curved, instead of flat panels, like Cinerama.

May I have the lists of 4Dx with ScreenX movie theaters (with location) please? I only experienced 4Dx and ScreenX separately, but not together. Going to the road trip soon. Please help me find out. Thanks.
The last 4DX that I attended seemed to be intensified compared to the pre-pandemic ones. I needed a seatbelt. It took away from the film because I was focused on holding on. This looks good but if I go again I’ll take a back support belt.
@Destroyer449 😆 It’s true. I saw Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and felt like my back would be forever displaced. Fortunately the movement was milder with Avatar.
4DX IMAX 3D! Do it!
Are movies made specifically to fit them screens or all them can be stretched regardless fit that 270?
Well if ScreenX becomes popular enough that it would be the new standard, then I think movies will be made for ScreenX.
Now they just need to have movies with 3 screens lit up for the entire film instead of just 30 mins or so !
How about putting a screen above too while we’re at it!
After all this we need SCREENX plus vision on the floor and ceiling too.... than it is complete with pictures around you...

What I was actually waiting is a VR cinema so you would really feel that you're part of the movie acting with the actors. I wonder how they would pull it through though 😅

I experienced screen X for the first time and as a film grad. I couldn’t stop laughing for the first 20 minutes of the movie. It’s absolutely stupid. Completely ruined MI7 for me.
4d movies should automatically include 3D, not 4d alone 🙄

Screen X is awful. The image on the main screen is projected in the normal way via a 2K or 4K Cinema DLP approved projector. The projectors screening onto the side walls are nowhere near the same standard. The projectors are low quality and provide a lower quality image which is often stretched. I watched a ScreenX show once, but never again.
