Yeah if you wanna enrich a tank and you dont have the borsig or your bad at it this is probably your choice as a td i mean. Borsig tho is absolutely broken if you wanna play a broken tech tree tank get borsig. With full crew skills and all bells and whistles 80% concealment while stationary. Run calibrated shells and you get insane HE pen which can go through literally anything except kv 5, kv 4, vk 100 etc. TIger 2 in the rear of turret, Lowe sides, IS series rear armor or upper engine deck etc. I get 2-3 HE pens per game its absolutely broken. Oh and did i mention with calibrated shells you get 367 HEAT pen :) The reason why you cant play ISU-152 with more HE pen like this is cuz you dont have a turret so your accuracy and camo is broken when you move.
What are good spots for the JP 2? I have won 3 games in the last 5 hours and I’m running so low on money I can’t afford consumables anymore. I always end up dying somehow and I’m not sure if it’s just a skill issue or if I just have bad luck. Whatever it is, I have no idea what to do and I need some help.
For me it was a pain to play it, terrible mobility, awful gun, the armor is troll but that doesn't change my opinion, you gonna suffer a lot, but it's worth, the T54E1 it's great and the T57 Heavy it's awesome.
Jpanther2 outperforms the wz-120-1ft in some situations as it is just as fast and has the better gun. The hull might be weaker but it is taller and the superstructure is ~270mm
Sometimes i bounce from mauschen and tanks with 200mm pen without hulldown everytime tank rushes me i shot and giggle after the shot sometimes i bounce some shots

I do think the JPanther II is good tank, but I don’t think it’s amazing and I wouldn’t describe most of its specs as amazing either. It’s dispersion is 0.336 which isn’t amazing. Amazing dispersion is anything below than 0.30. It’s aim time is 4.9 which isn’t bad for. 460 alpha gun, but I wouldn’t call it amazing. It’s DPM is very good at 2,652, but again not amazing. Amazing for a tier 8 TD would be over 3K DPM. It’s armor is also good, but not amazing. I would say that it’s penetration is amazing at 246mm for AP. It’s top speed of 55 km/hr is pretty amazing for such a large well armor TD, but it’s power to weight ratio is only 13 so it takes time to get up to max speed. Of course all of these specs are without equipment or provisions. Obviously you can improve them somewhat if you add equipment and provisions. Overall I think the JP II is a good well-balanced tier 8 TD, but by no means is it OP or broken. Just my opinion.

Paper in the sense that every tier 8 can penetrate your hull. Only bounce will be a lucky angling from a light tank shooting you
