She's amazing. I was there on the 23rd at her 1st show. Man she blew us away. My brother doesn't like muscials and her performance made him fall in love with wicked.
I saw her on 10-5-22. It was an INCREDIBLE experience and I was sobbing during the ending of this song because seeing Wicked live has been a dream of mine for years.
Just saw this last night. It was my second time watching Wicked, the time before when I was in highschool. I forgot how breathtaking this song is live. I mean I literally couldn't breathe it was amazing.
I saw her last month and she was incredible!!! the entire cast did an amazing job. Thanks for doing this, it's nice to be able to hear "my" elphaba over and over :D
I've seen her several times in Chicago.... my opinion, but she has been the only one that I've seen that really channels Margret Hamilton's witch mannerisms . Bravo!!!!
2:23 (not sure who invented that riff, I know Talia did it a lot, anyways) that riff sounds gorgeous. Her climax is amazing ! When she sings "me" on her BMD she has a very interesting sound, like, tunnel ish ? Kinda hollow. But I like it ! It's a cool sound to her. And the battle cry is just : YES !
Not just you - but that is what it always does. It moves up and forward in the “and nobody in all of oz” section, so it’s just a reverse of that movement more than lowering to the ground. It’s meant to look as though the wind is whisking her off I’ve been told.
This is the tour but Lissa just moved a few weeks to the Broadway company!!! She's now the new Broadway Elphaba standby!! Lissa replaced Mary Kate Morrisey who is gearing to take over FULLTIME from Alyssa Fox!!

I you mean the Tuesday the 22nd so was I! What a flawless debut that was.
I loved Lisa DeGuzman as Elphaba! And the same as Jennafer Newberry as Glinda
Lissa is the best wicked witch out there I just saw it today and I'm in love with it
I love her voice! I saw her this week in Chicago and was blown away 😭 same with Jennafer as Glinda.
I was at the Chicago show too. I have never heard a voice like hers before, it was breathtaking! I was sobbing during intermission lol

Just saw this on Saturday for the fourth time - Lissa is definitely my favorite Elphaba!!
Same! just saw her tonight!
Saw this tonight, fourth time seeing it, and it's just as brilliant as the first time. deGuzman kills it as Elphaba! Ditto Newberry as Glinda!
Saw her in Columbus Ohio Tuesday, and she is AMAZING! One of the best I’ve heard, hope she makes it to Broadway like Talia one day!
I saw her last month and she was incredible!!! the entire cast did an amazing job. Thanks for doing this, it's nice to be able to hear "my" elphaba over and over :D
I like how she has a "younger sounding" Elphie voice.
Lissa, so proud of you. You sound absolutely fantastic!!
I just got to watch her tonight, and she just keeps getting better and better!!!! Truly blessed to get to see her in person!!💚💚
I've seen her several times in Chicago.... my opinion, but she has been the only one that I've seen that really channels Margret Hamilton's witch mannerisms . Bravo!!!!
Ok I think I love her
YOU ARE A GOD SENT!! I have been wanting to prepare myself to see her in May 🤩

It almost sounds like she might have flipped from chest/mix voice to head voice for that first "Me". Very interesting!
@@josephball2623 ooo you're right. Thank you !
Celeste…what you hear is a mic switch. When she rises it switches to a microphone that’s hidden in her hat
@@michaellevine759 they’re talking about “bring me down” not the “it’s me”.
@@josephball2623 yea that was a very strong head mix. She pretty much in her head voice. I love it!
Saw her in Boston. She was amazing! So happy she was our Elphaba!
Wow. Flawless.
I saw her as Elphaba in Sacramento in May of this year
Omg thank you!!!
WOW!!!!!
Greatest of all time!!!!
Seeing her in 3 days!!! 💚🧹
great work
OMG TYSM!!! I wanted to see a variety of people sing Defying Gravity, since I will be auditioning as Elphaba at my school 🥰🫶
OH MY GOD THAT HIGH F
This is great. Clear voice. Was it just me or did the lift start lowering before the end of the song?

Oooo those French Horns though!! Not every production does that
It was a musician local to Spokane according to the program !
@@thewesternsky7581 that's what's up! Do you also happen to have Jennifer's TG or her popular? *Another one of my favs*
