i was at the performance that day and i have a (really low quality) video of defying gravity
I want to see it!
the how i UGH yes please
I saw them on 7/5. They killed it !
That forward placement on the BMDs and battle cry is crazy
she is really excellent
It is going to be a very very sad day when she leaves wicked
You can HEAR the benefits of the tongue trills and SOVT exercises she does! These are lifesavers Just gorgeous technique!
She really developed and improved her voice from 2023 to present. She’s one of my favorites
She’s definitely in the mid contract groove now 👏🏼
I swear the 4-6 month mark is when they are all at their best!! It’s the sweet spot lol.
I am OBSESSED with the look to the western sky… she is fierce normally but this sounded SO smooth
Living for the “ I hope your happy in the end”. Sounds like Kristen and Idina!✨
It’s so beautiful 😍
Used to LOOOOOOOVE when Kristen used to flip up on the "End" it's such an underrated choice and I'm surprised you don't see more Glinda's do it
And she had lost her voice one day before this… unreal!!! ❤️
Solo riff is 💚💚
Those pre flight lines are so real
Is this a new second BMD? 7:29 I don't think I've heard her do this before.
That was indeed very Alice Fearn of her woow!
@@OzdustBroomIt goes all the way back to Eden, and MK has been doing it since her tour days!
She does that once in a while, I guess it’s an option.
Lissa's moving to Broadway as the new standby!!!!
Alyssa will be the new broadway Lead Elphaba!!!
I saw her as Elphaba in Sacramento in May of this year
I love her voice! I saw her this week in Chicago and was blown away 😭 same with Jennafer as Glinda.
I was at the Chicago show too. I have never heard a voice like hers before, it was breathtaking! I was sobbing during intermission lol
I saw her on 10-5-22. It was an INCREDIBLE experience and I was sobbing during the ending of this song because seeing Wicked live has been a dream of mine for years.
I've seen her several times in Chicago.... my opinion, but she has been the only one that I've seen that really channels Margret Hamilton's witch mannerisms . Bravo!!!!
Saw her in Boston. She was amazing! So happy she was our Elphaba!
i need to see her again someday
Alyssa is BY FAR my favorite elphaba, I saw her for the first time in 2018 on tour in Miami and ever since I heard her voice, I was hooked to her talent. She deserves the lead.
She is my favorite elphie in wicked currently :)
Astounding. As close to perfect as DG gets.
great work
For gods sake can she PLEASE come to Broadway
Seeing her in 3 days!!! 💚🧹
She's amazing. I was there on the 23rd at her 1st show. Man she blew us away. My brother doesn't like muscials and her performance made him fall in love with wicked.
I you mean the Tuesday the 22nd so was I! What a flawless debut that was.
omg
cannot wait to hear this live
She reminds me of a mix between Alice Fern and Rachel Tucker, I love her.
her best yet 😍😍😍
Bloody hell! She didn't want to stop!
Something has shifted here in a really lovely way. Her voice sounds lighter here, not heavy at all, and the vibrato is so much freer and spinning beautifully. This is a stunning audio!
she just keeps getting better! <3
Going to see the show on the 4th I’m exited to see her again
Yess giving Caroline Bowman with that "look" riff <3
Absolutely incredible.
Saw this tonight, fourth time seeing it, and it's just as brilliant as the first time. deGuzman kills it as Elphaba! Ditto Newberry as Glinda!
Wow. Flawless.
I saw her last month and she was incredible!!! the entire cast did an amazing job. Thanks for doing this, it's nice to be able to hear "my" elphaba over and over :D
I just saw this cast yesterday they did an amazing job
Lissa is the best wicked witch out there I just saw it today and I'm in love with it
Does anyone know how long she's on for? Wicked is coming to my area in January and wondering if she will be starring as lead
Saw her in Columbus Ohio Tuesday, and she is AMAZING! One of the best I’ve heard, hope she makes it to Broadway like Talia one day!
I just got to watch her tonight, and she just keeps getting better and better!!!! Truly blessed to get to see her in person!!💚💚
I saw her last night! OH MY GAWD she was amazing! I had chills after every song
she sounds amazing! do you have any recordings of One Short Day or Wonderful? I can’t find either of them anywhere
this is amazing to see the second time around. honestly lissa as elphaba was perfection!
This is great. Clear voice. Was it just me or did the lift start lowering before the end of the song?
Not just you - but that is what it always does. It moves up and forward in the “and nobody in all of oz” section, so it’s just a reverse of that movement more than lowering to the ground. It’s meant to look as though the wind is whisking her off I’ve been told.
