"We're all alone" - 700km in low-range 😨
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 лис 2024
- Five years ago in one of Graham’s first ever DVDs with 4WD Action he attempted to drive from Home Valley in the east Kimberley north to Kalumburu via one of the most remote tracks in Australia. It was early in the season after a late wet and that track almost beat them. They only made it a tenth of the way and had to bail on the track at Oombulgurri and catch the ferry out.
Five years in the making, Graham, Shauno, Rod, Ronny and Col head back to the Kimberley to make it all the way. By hell or high water they are determined to finish what they started in what is one of the most remote and unforgiving landscapes in the country. You make a mistake out here or breakdown and you may as well say goodbye to your 4WD because help is at least a week away. The boys will have to travel over 700km in low range across some of the toughest terrains the Top End can throw at them. Will they make it or will they have to bail out again?
Nothing describes Australia quite like the Kimberley, an ancient land in the northernmost point of Western Australia.
Bordering the Timor Sea, the Great Sandy, and Tanami Deserts, The Kimberley is one of the earliest settled parts of Australia, with the first arrivals landing about 41,000 years ago (back when it was originally part of Indonesia).

I have see rougher drive ways
yup
no
Im still walking to work. I got off road shoes though
Hah, I bought one, even though I don't go off roading
Are you guys loving these full length episode uploads?! You need to SUBSCRIBE and HIT THE BELL ICON to get notified as soon as they're up. Cheers legends!
What tyre pressure were you running on the river crossing.
@Graeme Yamaha Ah, everything for free for you, huh? Not like these episodes have a zero cost associated with creating them. How about you go create come content instead of complaining about nearly 50min of free viewing... oh and make it all free on youtube! I'm sure the quality will be comparable.
I love you guys
Do we love them , mate I haven't moved off the chair for 2 days now
Absolutely love watching the great video's 👍👍✌🍺
I don't think I have watched anything else on UA-cam for the past few months, mate 🍺
It's been almost 2 years since this was uploaded..and here I am again....watching this for probably the 10th + time, one hell of adventure legends!
Australian student studying in Spain missing home. Thanks for these videos guys makes me feel a little closer to home
I'm in America amd every time I see a new video I want to book a trip to Australia and go on a journey with the 4wd Action guys!!!
Jake Ledbetter good luck with that

Jake Ledbetter and I go travelling with my parents and I went there last year
I'll go...
Caleb Yonker hey mate we have the Holden trailblazer in australia. If it’s the same then you will do fine
Ronnie is a legend, he was lovin' those tidal flats.
And LOL at Shauno's "it's tougher than fire" comment.
yeah dirty 30 is tougher than fire... haha good comeback
Nekk minnit, snaps axle. Or... no clutch.
Ronnie is a legend. What a great easy going bloke. Says a lot about Australian fellas in the bush.
What a trip. Thanks for sharing.
Ronnies a great sport they should have him on again
It’s a Toyota, remember what Top Gear did to that ‘Lux?!
No1 4x4 channel ever 👍🇦🇺 thanks for sharing absolutely love it 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
2am in Toronto but definitely can't go to sleep now !! right on boys!!!
Same here bro! Ossington and Dundas!
Awesome trip, thanks for sharing this for free on UA-cam, it really is appreciated.
Mark Harvey agreed! Although I definitely think this is television quality for sure!
Absolutely! This is a gift, as I never would be able to watch it in Germany, - THANKS A LOT!
@Outdoor Daily This name is actually an inside joke between me and a good friend. Nothing I could really explain, just silly bs. We have been playing around with names, I wanted Adultes, - not allowed, as it could be misunderstood, then tried Adult, - same. Then we set it up as Adulf, just to be told, you can only change your name twice on UA-cam, so I got stuck with it. No problem, it's just letters!
These Aussies have what appears to be the best adventures overland. Signed, Very jealous American
There’s about 28m Australians in a country the size of America! The “outback” will kill you if you don’t know what you’re doing. 👍
Australia is only inhabited on the coasts, therefore the whole entire inland is a overlanders dream
The team are legends! Thanks for making this free to watch. Dunno how you do it? G'day to Ronnie and the old man for me!!!!
One of the best episodes yet! So glad they’re free! Ronnie and the Old Man are so best👍🏽
Got my 4wd action magazine and DVD delivered in the mail this morning and now this, you bloody legends! Few cold vb’s, night sorted!
Yewww!!
Same here mate, sweet as🍻
Few to many
4WD Action yeeeew is right
Best 4WD channel on the internet, love from South Africa!!
mad respect for not bringing beer on this trip and showing respect to the first nations
A good coffee much better and safer
Do the First Nations people not drink?
@@mblizzy
Although fewer Aboriginals drink, percentagewise the ones who drink more often gets problems with drinking.
Some stats:
Aboriginal people are 1,5 times more likely to drink alcohol at risky levels
48% of Aboriginal mothers drinks while pregnant
60% of Aboriginal Australian drinkers experiencing some alcohol-related harm. Same figure for non-Aboriginal drinkers: 35%
17% of Aboriginal Australians who binge drink. Same figure for non-Indigenous Australians: 8%
5 times as many Aboriginal people die from alcohol-related causes compared to non-Aboriginal people
It's sort of the same issue as in USA with the alcohol related problems with indians.
@@mblizzy I think there may be dry communities along the way, so it may actually be illegal to bring alcohol to cirtain parts of the country. Don't quote me on that, but it rings a bell if I'm not mistaken.
I could not tell you how many times I have watched this episode of the Kimberley ... But each time is better than the last time that place they call Paradise just looks awesome, sorry awesome does not correctly describe it. Methinks its time to prepare the old 1998 Patrol Ti along with this old bugger and have a Capt Cook at this great part of a great country we live in.
Thanks to the 4WD Action crew, the camera crew and especially thanks to the traditional owners for sharing this great section of land.
I love everything about these guys. Shauno cooks just the way I do too. Love Graham's quirks!
Simply epic, after every feature lenght upload I forget my dreams of a muscle car and start patrolling gumtree for the 80 series of my dreams.

You guys have a very good show and I enjoy watching it. I think your show offers several elements that makes it very exciting to watch: documentary, educational, comedy, suspense, and action pack. Keep it up.
I absolutely am hooked on these adventures. I am an off-roader from the great state of Washington in the USA. Wish I could come along on one of these trips
I'm an aussie I love watching the channel and watching offroading
I do love these video's.. I can't wait for part two. the things that stagger me is the enormous beauty of the outback - every area you show is massive and beautiful... and the Aussie way of life and outlook! so much friendship, respect and love for one another. keep it up guys... I will one day, come over and try it.
Love that Evil truck with twin vertical pipes! You guys are living the dream!
Absolutely top notch lads. You've really outdone yourselves on this one
soon as i saw the notification of you guys i SMASHED THE LIKE BUTTON STRAIGHTAWAY!!!
I love the video, made me almost to cry, I live in Canada huge country, but to get a 4x4 is the worst place to try to buy one, no selection; what ever you can buy are for ladies. Australia is the land of 4x4. Thank for the video.
Just finished the 1st ever episode of the Nissan 2.7D Hilux special, and since is stay in Bundy, I am already planning my trip to Fraser. Now this one video is sure gonna keep me from sleep now , thank you guys.

Great video! Can’t wait till I get old enough to drive to places like these.
Are you calling Graham old? ;)
4WD Action haha no way.
Awesome place. I only scratched the surface there back in October last year, Can't wait to get back.
i saw evil again! I AM HAPPY! great video guys cant wait for the next part
I was really surprised, how many serious offroad vehicles are around, when I was in Australia with a cruiseship. Here, in Munich the towncenter is full of SUV´s, which don´t make any sense at all. But to see your Toyota´s, Isuzu´s and Nissan´s driving through the outback like us on the Autobahn is impressive! Bon voyage and thank you for this brilliant filming and story telling from the other side of the planet!
Which camera equipment do you use?
It's nice standing in Odeonsplatz and watching all the supercars roll by though, not too much of that in Australia ;)
@@chanandlerbong7906 we have quite a lot in Australia, races and street cars
that rare occasion when you find one that you missed and haven't watched yet..........GOLD!
We need more of these types of episodes 🙌🙌🙌
Man, after watching these river crossings compared to the latest updated video crossings are a huge difference. Seeing the Paradise place dry and in the newer years later video water falls flowing there. Just wow!
Thanks, great film, music, editing, good driving.
Absolutely love that single cab cruiser
this LC75 looks like tank. Impressive what those old Yotas are capable. nice journy
Jeepers I wish I was young enough to get out of Europe and come drive that track loved this video excellent production. Love to seee more of the support crews and setup
