The Blue City of Bundi, India: Magnificent Moti Mahal Garh Palace

If you have never been to Bundi, try not to miss it. Palaces, and I do mean palaces, are surrounded by fort walls, that stretch into infinity and beyond. Owned by a Maharajah that doesn't doesn't want to fully restore the Moti Mahal, and two other palaces in the next video, they have the most incredibly gorgeous rooms filled to the max with paintings in Bundi style.
Vivid, colorful, story telling paintings on walls, ceilings, gold niches, go on and on. We visited Bundi in February but my camcorder went "ka-ka" in Bundi and it took forever to edit and smooth clips. I thought it was worth the effort since neither Steve nor I have ever seen such a collection. Enjoy...

hard to understand why this place is rotting without restoration and lack of tourism. even better than other well known rajasthan forts.

Hammad, I swear you and I were connected today by ESP. Bundi flashed through my mind as I was looking at scenery and I thought once again, why don't they do something with this ultra-magnificent palace. Honest! and then I read your UA-cam comment. That is more than a coincidence... I do know why though, our guide said that the current Maharajah doesn't want to invest the millions it would cost to restore the hotel. Have you visited the Palace?
