  • We are blessed to have some of the best crappie fishing in the world right out our back door. On this video its late in the spawn and the crappie are about as shallow as they get. Bryant and tommy are fishing one of our favorite lakes and they catch a stringer full. Y'all enjoy!

    Would you say fishing would still be good in a couple more weeks?

    • @3kproductions269
      @3kproductions269  Рік тому

      I believe so. The rains we’ve gotten recently and the cooler temps have pushed the fish back out a little deeper. We get back to several 70 degree days in a row they’ll start running back shallow.

    When do the crappie usually spawn on Grenada

    @clay3129 Рік тому +1

    Man I’d like to try that technique. Is this during peak spawn or before/after? About 2 feet looks like?

    • @3kproductions269
      @3kproductions269  Рік тому +2

      Peak spawn. In this video they were up about as shallow as they’ll get. They were around shin deep on this particular day.

    I am surprised the gators don’t eat those fish right of the stringer

      I was thinking the same comments, do these fisherman ever encounter those giant lizards in this water? The splashing stringer of crappie would have me worried all day! But great technique and skillet. Good camera work also.

    Do y’all just find timber and go for it or is there certain areas you key in on??

    • @3kproductions269
      @3kproductions269  Рік тому

      We’ve fished these lakes for years so we know areas we’ve had success in the past at different water levels. If I were new to it I would just hit the bushes and cover water and you’ll find them.
