I wish we got money to donate blood or plasma over here.. we get a pat on the back a glass of juice and a cracker😂 I’d really need the money. Sadly I wouldn’t be able to donate because I’m on regular medications right now that prohibit it. Otherwise all my blood works are fine now after being low on iron since I was 16… We dont pay for medical care , except through taxes ,that aren’t even much higher than yours, (unless you earn a lot of money… )and don’t get any to donate, so it’s actually fair. Lots of people regularly donate anyway just out of the goodness of their heart, which is great ❤ otherwise we’d have a big problem in our hospitals obviously .. Ozzy is so adorable👶🏻 And I just have to say that Lierin has turned in to such a beauty, she’s always been adorable like all your kids are!!! but now she’s transformed into a breathtakingly etherial beauty😍. I don’t condone pageants or things like that . I find personally find it a bit creepy and tacky with all the makeup and big hair and dressing up like grown ups . And preforming like circus horses( sorry if I’m stepping on some toes here… this isn’t something that’s done here in Norway. That’s probably why I find it especially foreign and unnatural..) But I think I would have tried to see if she could get some fun advertisement/ modeling jobs, if it was something she’s personally like to do of course! The ones where she’s just a normal cute kid wearing appropriate clothes, if you get my drift. Or playing with a fun toy or drinking juice, I’m sure you guys understand what I mean .. I’m sure someone would take her on in their books as she truly is special❤
Here in Australia, plasma is once a fortnight, and no financial remuneration. I've never seen a plasma donation take 3 hours! I wonder if America uses the same machines. Average is about 45 mins for plasma.
@@skyemorrisey8637 it just depends on the queue for vitals, the queue to be seated, some people take 45 mins to donate, if less hydrated it can take longer. I think kat meant it can take up to three hours for the drive there, the vitals and waiting and then the donating and the drive home.
Of course! From the drive, assessment, donation, snacks after and the drive home it would absolutely take that long. I thought she meant just the donation!!
Yes, I count donation time from the time I leave the house till I get home lol. But actual donation time for me is about 45 minutes…but some people can sit there hooked up for 3 hours. Depends on your body.
Where I live the pay varies. The more times you donate in a month, the more you earn. So maybe the first couple of donations are $50 then they go up to $75 then if you donate enough times in a month it’s $100. Rates start over each month and a healthy person can donate every 4 days. My adult son and his wife donate often to supplement their income. Edited to add: We don’t get paid for donating blood here, only plasma which is much more time consuming and draining.
I can't donate because I hate blood stuff, but I'm considering moving into the car soon. I also do rideshare and food apps, so I can make quick money this way. I have so much do in Bay Area living in my car just wouldn't bother me.
I can't donate because I have small red blood cells with normal iron which is still a form of normochromic microcytic anemias, but it is cool that people can do it
I wish I could donate blood and plasma. But I can't because of having kidney disease. 😢 From being on INSAIDS so much in my life because of chronic pain. Now, I am just in pain without relief. Because I can no longer take anything that will actually help me. Tylenol does didily squat for my.
It's always so interesting learning about how blood services in other countries works. Thanks for sharing!
I appreciate you letting me know about your experience donating.

How much do plasma places pay?
Kat I like your glasses.
We don't get paid for donating blood in Ireland. Can I ask how much money you get for donating plasma.
I saw online $800 American money

How much blood do they need when donating?❤❤
Do you have health insurance for you & your family through your employer?

You shouldn't have to do that! Everyone should have housing.
That’s good money for donating plasma in America they don’t do that in New Zealand

My iron is too low to donate

What about medical cannabis?
No thank you.
@@Deeona2boys I wasn't offering lol. A lot of people do find that it can help with chronic pain, if it is legal in your state ofcourse.
I know you aren't offering. I was saying no I won't take that stuff.
I’m anemic.
