Jason is my man...he hasn't lost his artistry and makes me wanting more of him over all the jumpers who stroke from jump to jump which is so terribly boring.
I love this program, and it will only get better. I can't wait to see this at the nationals. This could be a signature peace for him, along the lines of Riverdance, perhaps. He seems tired - understandably - it's the beginning of the year. But the footwork section was great! Keep pushing!
Beautiful as always Jason!!! A lot of little kinks and bugs to work out before Nationals, but I really like this music on him and how different it is too what we're used to from him. But, brilliant as always Jason I can never say enough about how much I love watching this man skate.

Jason finished in 6th place in short, long and overall at the Beijing Olympics. That's not bad! Impressive placement without quads, so it says a lot about his talent on the ice. I see what you're saying though, it's hard to make the podium without quads 🙄
This is the first time I’ve seen this particular work. He interprets music so well. Interesting music. Challenging. He looked like he was completely into it. Left nothing out there. It was great.❤️❤️❤️
I don't care that Jason doesn't do quads.Hus triples are amazing and his artistry is untouched! He is a stunningly beautiful skater and it will be a sad day in skating when he retires! I truly hope he goes into coaching!

I’m on the fence about this program. I read that the music is from Tarzan - but if you didn’t know that (not recognizable song), you wouldn’t get the choreography. It does not have the wow factor that most of his programs do .. aside from it being a little rough, early season. Still love Jason, tho!
He’s fantastic, however he is clearly at a huge technical disadvantage & needs to rely on his other skills ie skating skills, interpretation, musicality & style. I don’t think personally this programme capitalises on his strengths.
Huge disadvantage is a complete understatement. He is a lovely skater and I always enjoy his programs but he can not compete with the skaters who do multiple quads.
I have not doubt this program will get better as the season goes along, but it will never (and should never) be competitive in comparison to the skaters that have multiple quads.
The thing is, he’s been consistently competitive against skaters with multiple quads for years now. Skating isn’t solely about how many revolutions each jump contains. 🤷
@@arrowchild never won an individual medal medal at an Olympics or world championship where all the best compete. His finishes are 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th (2x), and 9th (2x). He can not win a medal if every skater hits their jumps. You are one of those whiners that wishes school figures were back and skaters only did doubles. Just get over it.

was he touring before this? coz his legs look tired. his choreo jumps have less hang time and that stumble happened coz he wasn't expecting the landing. beautiful program though -- not his best, still better than the "best" of other skaters rn. hope he rests up before the major comps!

Quite possibly the first time I’ve watched him skate and not be impressed with the artistry, choreography, or technical merit. Too dramatic, needs more engaging music
I advocated for Ilia to go to the Olympics (not that I have anything to do with it), but Ilia and a chance to redeem himself at the Worlds. Twice!!! And he blew it. Which means he wouldn’t have had a lot of chances to bring another medal for US. So… I felt better about Jason going.

I loved the interpretation of this routine. He seemed to be off on the timing and take-off of his jumps. The guy is awesome!
