On 14th August 1947, I was a 10 years old boy visiting my uncle in Karachi. I accompanied him to see the procession of cars towards the government office. Mr Mohammed Ali Jinnah and Lord Mountbatten were driving towards the offices where transfer of power was to be signed. After that day, there was sense of insecurity among Hindus. I left Pakistan in October 1947.
