A picture in investment of emotion. I was so deeply touched by this. I’m bipolar and this performance makes my experience understood. Brava. I appreciate this singer for pouring herself into this.
god it's weird listening to someone else sing this, but she's truly brilliant. the way her voice cracks at "i miss the pain" ahhh
WalkWhenICanFly I dont blame you. I am more used to Alice Ripley. In fact i saw the national tour with her ten years ago when it opened at the Ahmanson in LA. I went with my mom, brother and our drama classmate from school. The three of us were high school juniors at Long Beach Poly.
My mom and both of my sisters are bipolar. I know I will never understand what that is like, but watching their struggles has made Next to Normal such a powerful show for me. So much of what Christiane does in this performance is just sadly magical.
Such an amazing gift to have had the opportunity to work with her last spring! Truly an amazing gift she has!
Just came across this.....brilliant! Christiane Noll is such a talent!!!!!
Richard Roginski So did I
Dear Christiane...is there anything you can't sing into my soul? Absolutely breathtaking!
Stewart Bender At least she can nail Rogers and Hammerstein
I truly wish this had a cast recording. I would love to hear her version of so many of these songs
Same.
@@TheaterWorksInc you mean it really doesn't exist at all? is there a version I can buy somewhere?
@@avapatino6058 That's correct, sorry friend. You might be interested to know that we're doing FUN HOME this season - you could stream that from anywhere in the world with our new memberships!
WOW I lOVE this rendition!!!! Beautiful, heartfelt, aching, perfect. For some reason, Christine Noll singing this song reminds me of Maureen McGovern singing "There's Got To Be A Morning After." Something about the combination of voice and chord progressions.
Love love love. As someone who struggles with bipolar this is perfect. And the effort she puts in with her emotions is amazing. I wish I would have found out about Next to Normal before they stopped it.😢
It's playing in London right now. Time for a holiday?
@@Ezinma88 I’ve been dying to go to London. Count me in!
I saw Christine play Cynthia Connor's mom in the national tour of Dear Evan Hansen last year. She really nailed this one. Very subtle and genuine. Happy Mothers Day to all moms who are thespians waiting to get back to work or musical theatre fans who want to share Broadway magic again with their sons or daughters.
Wow!! is just the start of how I feel after listening to Christiane Noll and the stellar orchestra accompanying her. Looking forward to seeing the show this weekend.
Absolutely beautiful. Love this song.
Can't wait for opening night...Brilliant
How beautiful! I can't wait for 3/31! Lovely videography too! Thanks for putting it out!
She is stunning.
Go, Christiane! So good!
Christiane Noll never fails to move me to tears...please, is there anywhere a complete recording of this show with her?
Not exactly what you're looking for but I hope it helps!

She is the most amazing actress I’ve seen EVER
Bridgit Hill I have seen her in the Sound of Music Live as one of the Nuns and as Cynthia Murphy in the national tour of Dear Evan Hansen
Loved this video! Beautiful voice! Loved the music, love the violin playing!
Flawless! 💖💖💖
Awesome!
Vitor Busnardo And could not be timlier with the Coronavirus
I hope she does this role somehow else. I'd love to see her play it!
Joseph Croft She already did it if you read the description
Came here for the music… it’s leaving me wondering how anybody manages this shit. I’m not doing great. Such a beautiful song… thanks for sharing it with us! Who? Anyone involved! 🙏
She is fantastic like usual. She is such a different feel from Alice Ripley. I personally prefer Alice but Christine is awesome as well.
Raaid Cotman-El I might have to agree. In fact i saw Alice as Diana on the national ten years ago.
@@manuelorozco7760 I saw her too when she came to Providence Rhode island with the show. Her voice was pretty fatigued, but she still captivated.
Raaid Cotman-El I guess we can strongly agree. I saw the show in LA 6 days before Xmas. I was a high school junior on a date night with my mom, brother and our classmate from school. The show itself is just as emotionally intimate as DEH
Raaid Cotman-El I saw Christine as Cynthia in DEH last year in Costa Mesa
@@manuelorozco7760 how was she? I haven't seen her live. She was in a revival of ragtime some years back. I wanted to see it so bad but I couldn't.
