Wow, this brings back memories. I really had a thing for the Spanish teacher. Ms Reyes, I think? I had Frau Clark for German. Nice vid. Thanks. Class of '87.
At 9:18: "Gordon Tech ... prides itself on providing its academic programs in a clean, safe, moral and religious environment. Many parents and students seek a warm, friendly yet firm education approach in which subjects are taught in a structured and disciplined manner. Gordon Tech has always emphasized excellence, within a Christian context." Just a few years later it was impossible to find ANY school in the area that would say anything about "structure", "discipline" or a "firm education approach", let alone a "moral" environment. The progressivists had taken over and all you heard was garbage and nonsense about "critical thinking" and "constructing knowledge" and "collaboration". Perhaps Catholic schools, including GT, would have survived better if they had stuck with what works rather than succumbing to trendy ed theories like the government schools.
I'm not sure it's totally the school fault for their failure when the let discipline fall away when I went there 2000-2004 they were trying to bring back discipline and ended up expelling almost a tenth of the graduating class American social fabric is largely destroyed a school won't be able to fix that
