Have you heard about - Eonaylar Unconventional Equalizer (Have a quick look on google can't remember the place now)? It is a smashing one off guide for making money using this effective traffic source minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.
Very clear explanation. Well done. However, I suspect that this 'redirection' to a seperate web site, especially for business owners, is likely to have limited appeal. As a busy business owner, I have never answered any such survey. Mainly because of the fear that it will take more than 10 secods - which is all am prepared to spare. I'm guessing most of our clients feel the same way. Maybe I should survey them - but it would have to be done during the course of a phone call....
I am guessing we could create an email campaign, add the URL of the survey to the campaign, and redirect the users from the email to the survey page. Not very sexy or smooth, and I am sure this redirect will reduce the response rate. But I am seeing no other way to do that at this time (July 2021)
Hi Juan, I needed to do the same thing. I used the survey's copied URL and placed it in a button below the images in a newsletter. This way they can view the images, which I labelled "option 1" "option 2" and then they click the button to be brought to the voting page. I hope this makes sense. I don't like that the readers have to click twice but that seems to be what is necessary at the moment.

Unfortunately Surveys can't be embedded in an email. Surveys are on a URL therefore it's necessary to create a hyperlink/button from your email to the Survey URL.
Can you make a tutorial about “Conversations”? What’s that option all about? I see “Inbox” sometimes. Does that just provide a place for receiving email if ppl hit “reply to sender” on your campaign message email? And could you talk a little about the “Postcards” option? Thanks. Awesome channel 👏
Unfortunately there is not a first name field for the survey that will automatically update your Audience. The best way to do what you want is to add a text field and ask for the respondents first name. You may then export the survey results to CSV and import the required data into your Audience awhile making sure to map the first name field from your survey to the FNAME field in your audience..

No the survey isn't automatically sent to an audience. Mailchimp provide a URL for the survey which you may then send as a link in an email campaign should you so wish. Hope this helps.

Hi Gary, Thanks for this! I note on your screen that when you go to view the survey, you have the choices of email, Facebook or Twitter. I have linked my FB account to my Mailchimp account, but I'm not seeing the option to use Facebook to distribute my survey. Is there another setting I'm missing? Thanks.

Hi Barbara, I don't believe that there is a means of exporting the responses. Surveys are fairly new in Mailchimp so hopefully they provide the functionality soon as it would be very useful.

Hi Paul, a survey is, essentially, a form on a web-page. The survey isn't embedded in an email and isn't emailed to your subscribers by default. You'll need to email the link for the survey to your subscribers.

No. Unfortunately once a contact has unsubscribed it isn't possible to send them a further email campaign in Mailchimp.

Are the surveys only free for the first 100 responses per month?
Hi Jill, I'm not aware of any limits as to the number of responses per month. As far as I'm aware the number of responses is unlimited.

Yes. The survey is live until you take it offline.

Yes correct. A survey is essentially a form on a web page. Email doesn't (yet) have the widely-used technology to be able to embed a form in an email.

You have to save it as a file, then create a link, and in the link menu scroll down to file.

Hi Larona, you'll need to contact Mailchimp directly for this.

A survey can't be embedded into an email. You can however add a link to your email that takes the subscriber to your survey.
