Good god, that summer of 2012 when me and my friends did litteraly nothing but play black ops zombies on every map. 3 months of pure nirvana and this music was 50 percent of it all. The good times, the bad times, we always sang horribly to these songs, but we didn't care. This song always stood out to me the most. Kevin Sherwood is god, and Siegman has the voice of a god. Such nostalgia even though it wasn't that long ago
Lol, if you want true nostalgia, look no further than CoD:WAW zombies, now that is true nostalgia, shame the community is tiny because of new cods being released every single year..
My thoughts - This song is from the viewpoint of one of the countless zombies killed over the course of the gamemode. Initially, and during the main verses, the zombie endlessly fantasises of food, lusting over consuming the flesh of the living. But then the chorus arrives, and another viewpoint emerges entirely - someone begging you, the One, to kill them and set them free. The last vestige of the undead's former self is trapped inside this rotting corpse, controlled by the powers that be, and it's begging you to kill them. The song switches back and forth between this, representing the undead's tortured state, their soul bubbling to the surface before buried back underneath insatiable thoughts of carnage. Makes you reconsider the faceless hordes you endlessly mow down across the maps. Are they after you purely by instinct, or is at least part of it suicide by cop...?
Wonderful, works to Garner sympathy except for the maps where they were literal Nazis in their former lives, doesn't detract from the analysis here though

Every nation has an army; it's important to realize they were normal people just like American soldiers. Being a citizen of Germany didn't mean they were evil
The SMGs in multiplayer are broken, but it's good other than that. The campaign was great except for a couple of basic, mindless Japanese vs American missions. The zombies was phenomenal fun, but it tons of problems, like bad melee mechanics, zombie double slaps, and of course having to pay money to get a decent map. Overall like a 7/10. Not the best CoD, but blowns anything new out of the water.

It's been a few years since I listened to these songs and omg the nostalgia!!! I didn't think it was possible but they're even better now, I feel like I appreciate the songs more now that I'm older lol. The One, 115 and Beauty of Annihilation are definitely my favourites :D
I personally think this is Kevin Sherwood's most "technical" song. It doesn't sound like it was written just for the sake of putting it in a video game (unlike the newer songs), but instead, it sounds like it was written out of downright passion in his alone time.
WaW was easily the best of Call Of Duty(Except for all the modders and hackers...). I hope that this either gets remade or a sequel is made. Screw it, Treyarch needs to make BOTH happen.
OTB Combat that’s not story related that’s design related they just chose to do it it would’ve been impossible to have the story planned out cause zelinski was the original head of zombies and got switched to blundell when motd came around. the story was just a side aspect, then became massive later on
These Kevin Sherwood songs along with the occasional Avenged Sevenfold song have made zombies the ultimate game mode musically. and that just goes on top of the fact that it already rocks.

It's weird to think how relevant this song is in Cold War, knowing that the being known as "The One" is waiting in the Dark Aether waiting for us to come and set it free.
There is intel that's Carver talking and saying that all the Dark Aether creatures are controlled by Elites and Specials, then the Elites and Specials are controlled by Apex creatures (HVTs and Ordas], and Requiem have theorized that the Apex creatures are controlled by one leader, whos identity is unknown rn, so it does make sense.
I love activating this today. My only complaint over the past 11 years has been that it's barely audible over round 20 due to gunshots and Dempsey getting a hard on for killing zombies
the guitar in this song left a mark in my mind. A mark that shows proof that i had great teenage years in gaming. Listening to this song motivates me to play again, revive those years by playing with my friends, eating popcorn, drinking soda or other things, play zombies to get to a high round and unlock the easter eggs. The guitar sounds so amazing that i even feel so jealous by not having the amount of time to learn to play one. I love all kinds of metal and rock, even if sometimes i listen to hip hop music or pop, but metal will always be there in a big place in my heart, especially this guitar in the song.😈❤️🔥🎸

That is because Infinity Ward is shit. They have destroyed there company name and image by there horrible attempts to produce a proper Call of Duty title after Jason & Vince left. Treyarch has and always will make great titles, another upside to there games is that they are not afraid to include actual blood, limbs being gibed and so on. Treyarch actual puts effort into there games, and it shows every year when there's are compared to Infinity Ward.
***** Treyarch bombed BO2, that game was terrible. Zombies was the worst part. IW was good up until the release of MW3. MW3 wasn't too good and Ghosts just sucks. And Treyarch doesn't use the gore factor anymore.

I've been playing Zombies for 6 years (the first copy of COD I got my hands on was BO2 for the 360 in 2017, but I've been playing BO1 and BO2 with friends before) and I just found this song yesterday. We definitely need a COD: Zombies Game. -All maps from previous games -New maps included in-game -Custom Map Creator -Create your own personal profile (Like emblems/titles from Multiplayer) -Story Mode, Grief, Survival, Turned, and maybe new game mode -4-10 players (depends on options and what game mode you choose) -Character/ Name Color Selection (Choose your own default characters) -Custom Characters (Create your own characters) -DLC maps with new guns/maps/game modes/characters -Host migration (best addition since BO2) -Settings such as add dogs/monkeys/special zombies. -More Easter Eggs, and Create custom ones as well with your maps -Amount of money you can have in the bank should be bigger. -Jukebox that plays any zombie-related song (Made for COD zombies specifically) for free (Can add regular songs approved by Treyarch through DLCs) -New traps That's all I have on me.

Damn... WaW was one of the rawest cods ever... Shit was so good, from the story to the soundtrack to the secret zombie mission that made me cover my eyes when I was like 12 and first beat the game 😂 my top cods are mw2 bo1 cod4 and WaW in no particular order because all of them were amazing
All these games hold a special place in my heart, cod 4 introduced me to cod, I listened to WaW soundtrack on repeat, mw2 made me deadass go "noo.............", shed a tear and get away from the PC for a while after ghost died, and made me put my step-dad (rip) on to Hans Zimmer 😂😂 and bo1 was really unique with the whole sleeper agent storyline... This really was the peak of cod

It's weird to think how relevant this song is in Cold War, knowing that the being known as "The One" is waiting in the Dark Aether waiting for us to come and set it free.
There is intel that's Carver talking and saying that all the Dark Aether creatures are controlled by Elites and Specials, then the Elites and Specials are controlled by Apex creatures (HVTs and Ordas], and Requiem have theorized that the Apex creatures are controlled by one leader, whos identity is unknown rn, so it does make sense.

this song really fits the map, it’s all just so miserable and sad/dark
the guitar in this song left a mark in my mind. A mark that shows proof that i had great teenage years in gaming. Listening to this song motivates me to play again, revive those years by playing with my friends, eating popcorn, drinking soda or other things, play zombies to get to a high round and unlock the easter eggs. The guitar sounds so amazing that i even feel so jealous by not having the amount of time to learn to play one. I love all kinds of metal and rock, even if sometimes i listen to hip hop music or pop, but metal will always be there in a big place in my heart, especially this guitar in the song.😈❤️🔥🎸

That is because Infinity Ward is shit. They have destroyed there company name and image by there horrible attempts to produce a proper Call of Duty title after Jason & Vince left. Treyarch has and always will make great titles, another upside to there games is that they are not afraid to include actual blood, limbs being gibed and so on. Treyarch actual puts effort into there games, and it shows every year when there's are compared to Infinity Ward.
***** Treyarch bombed BO2, that game was terrible. Zombies was the worst part. IW was good up until the release of MW3. MW3 wasn't too good and Ghosts just sucks. And Treyarch doesn't use the gore factor anymore.

I've been playing Zombies for 6 years (the first copy of COD I got my hands on was BO2 for the 360 in 2017, but I've been playing BO1 and BO2 with friends before) and I just found this song yesterday. (weird, isn't it?) It's now stuck in my head and it makes me sing my heart out whenever I want to listen to it.
