  • Join me on a little morning adventure in British Columbia as I go looking for the world's smallest shorebird - the Least Sandpiper. These tiny little birds are the size of a sparrow and weigh about 20 grams/0.7 ounces. They are so cute and funny to photograph as they look just like the bigger shorebirds only much, much smaller. They are quite challenging to photograph due to their tiny size and excellent camouflage. Check out the video and see how I go about shooting these adorable birds on the mudflats near my home on the Sunshine Coast. I used my Nikon D500 and my Sigma 120-300mm lens during this shoot. Check out more of my work here on UA-cam or via Instagram: @michaelaagaardphoto or my website: michaelaagaard.photo. Thanks for watching!
