Literally. Been praying to get better, i’m starting to take basketball seriously. Then this video shows up on the recommendation. “الله is always listening. It’s you who’s not talking” (i’m muslim sorry if i somehow offended u with this comment)
Im at this point where I think I am a liability in my team just coz I can’t hit a damn jump shot. There’s quarters where I don’t even get the chance to touch the ball because of their thought of me just bricking my shot. I’m gonna work on my shooting and make my self proud.. mark my words 😤
“prioritize learning over performance” hits home. basketball really is microcosm for life. I have the same performance focused mindset in other fields too and its unhealthy
Great stuff! You should also make a similar video about vertical jump & explosiveness, the pylometrics and isometrics part and other things because there are a ton of different videos on this topic and it's very confusing.
Love your vids, is it possible that you can make a Jalen Brunson workout? His game is really unique for guards and I can’t find any workouts for him. Or a Shai workout.
So I have trouble trying to structure my workout do you have any tips? Because rn this is my workout: 1. Stretch/warmup, 2. Shooting drills, 3. Ball handling, 4. Finishing, 5. Attacking the basket. But idk if that is good or not
You got opportunities and threats wrong. In business, opportunities are strengths that are external and threats are weaknesses that are external. So a threat could be, increased competition from other basketball teams. An opportunity could be that a new basketball court has opened very close to where you live so you don’t have to travel far to practice. Both are external, out of your control.
Hey coach, the winter is approaching and the gym I used to shoot in is only open rarely, so how can I get better at shooting, finishing, etc. What should I do to keep getting better? I only have 4 team practices a week
Bro weight room and ply workouts are really what took my game to the next level and allowed me to play D2. Sometimes off the court stuff is really what can make or break a career.
Growing taller really comes down to genetics, though sleeping, eating healthy and so on will improve your chances. At puberty you’ll hit a growth spurt, I went from 4’11 to 5’7 within 2 years.
I asked and god listened, thank you VDB, you and By Any Means Basketball are the best basketball UA-camrs rn.
Love to hear it, appreciate the support man! Shoutout to my guy Coleman he’s great!

Definitely slightly adapted, but I think presenting it this way makes it more applicable for this

place a small piece of tape around 10 feet high on a wall and shoot it continously
Is there a outdoor court near you
