Very nice, can't wait for the next vids.
Thank you. I have some more videos I need to edit. So more to come.😀
The minis are gorgeous! Great inspiration for my own Swedish force.
Thank you. I have now painted up my entier Swedish Epic battles army and will soon do a showcase of it all. 😀
Wow really impressed wth the painting.
Thank you. Just finished painting up the entier Swedish army today. Will do a bigger showcase later on. 😀
Fantastic work Nic.
Steel fist for infantry
Peter pig for cavalry
Thank you. I was about to order some Cuirassiers from Steel fist. But then I go for the Infantry insted and Peter Pig for the Cuirassiers then. Many thanks for that info. Cheers 😀👍
Fantastic work Nic well done, thanks for sharing with us 👍
Thank you. More is on it´s way... 😀
Excellent work on these Nic, great mass effect. We look forward to the next update. 👍
Thank you. Plenty more from the big box " push of pike " to do, Im just keep on painting. 😀
Love it !
Thank you. Cheers 😀
Great stuff Nic. A fantastic looking force. 👍
Thank you. Much to paint still. 😀
From one Nick to another; Well Done!
Thank you. 😀
Wow epic painting Nic. You have nailed that detail!
Thank you. It´s too easy to get stuck in painting details. Insted of focus on get as much ready for the gaming table ASP. 😀
Awesome looking army
Thank you. Will do a showcase of the entier Swedish army for Epic scale soon that I have painted up.
Gorgeous work nic, such a great looking army
Thank you. And Im not even close to 50% done of that big box of Epic battles. 😀
You got sucked into the Epic scale I see....Me too. Excellent work , as usual.
Thank you. I get baited in to easy with new projects like this all the time. 😀
Woah, so that's what you've been up to. That's a lot of detail for that scale but good on you. Looks fantastic.
Thank you. Yeah, I fall off the hobbytable there for a little while. But now Im back. 😀👍
@@NicGamz easy to do if you don't use blue poster tac to stick yourself down carefully. 🤪
Very nicely done Nic!
Thank you. 😀
Agree the Steel fist miniatures are a good fit and are beautifully sculpted I got a lot through kickstarter and they are nice guys too
Thx. Im painting some of them right now. They are very high quality sculpts. Will showcase them when I painted them all. 😀
fantastic! They're looking like a grand army already =) Definitely a bit jealous of your speed :D
Thank you. I hope I can paint up the entier box.... soon. Speed & quality is always a balance and how to find it. Speed up to much and it does not look good, take too much time and you never be done and get burned out at the same time. 😀
nice one Nic. I like the visual of the 3 cannons together. great stuff....or should I say EPIC stuff? :D
Thank you. Yes it´s great when you can make the epic battles looks epic. 😀
Truly superb Nic, great details and impressive mass effect!
Thank you. Yes, miniature armys look always great in mass. 😀👍
Amazing work Nick!
Thank you. Cheers! 😀
Great looking Epic Swedes, Nic 👍. You seem to be cracking through them at a good pace. I also would be worried about trying to paint all of the details on the Epic figures. One of the reasons I stopped doing 15mm was that it was taking me as long as doing 28s 😆.
Thank you. Yeah that is the problem for me too. I take the same long time on one 15mm figures as I do with a 28mm. If I did not have had the contrast paints I would have been in a mental hospital by now. 😁😀👍
They look wicked good! Love the cannons and cav.
Thank you. Im also happy with the cannons, got them to look like that " time period" I feel like. For cavalry contrast paint is a must. Or you will never be done with that many horses. 😀
Well done Nic 👍 I hope you have the opportunity to paint some of the Steel Fist miniatures.
Thank you. Yeah, think I have to order my self some Steel Fist miniatures. They look so great and will be good to mix together with epic battles.
They look very nice - as to painting details nobody will ever notice, I started out with that attitude when I began doing 15mm AB Napoleonic figures, and it rapidly went out the window. I paint all the details I can because I think that the sculpts are so good they deserve the effort - I don't care if other people never see it, I know it's there and that's what's important to me.
Thank you. I agree that painting all the details is fun and they then look great. The problem for me is that I have so much to paint and I belive that if I stop on all details I will burn my self out to fast and never be done with the project. Or maby not. Will see. 😀
@@NicGamz I tend to have a lot of figures on the painting table at any time - for several different projects. My "core business" is 15/18mm Napoleonic and so there are always Napoleonic figures on the painting table. I've found that, for me, doing a whole battalion at once (anything from 24 to 40 figures, depending on the army) is too much - so my key target each week is to paint a stand or two of the battalion I'm working on. Then I have other figures that are for other projects - possibly in 28mm or, more likely 20mm WWII. As I'm doing the Napoleonic figures for the week I might paint all their packs and discover I still have some paint left on the palette - so I take the excess and use it on some other unrelated figures as appropriate, or I just do the packs on the following weeks main focus. After a few weeks of this I have an absurd number of figures on the table - and then I look at a group of figures and think "oh, I just need to do this and this and I've finished those". I think the key thing is to try and maintain some focus, after a few years you'll find you have respectable forces (I paint both sides) even if you just aim for a limited number of figures per week. My weekly target is ten figures a week - which sounds super slow - but that's 500 figures a year and so about nine or ten infantry battalions. Obviously if you are paining both sides you can get some variety painting different figures from different nations. Multiply that by a few years and you have a few divisions, plus some WWII platoons for skirmish games. Plus a lot of odds and ends that need more work!
@@malcolmrose3361 You have some great skills and focus there to get that much done. Im impressed. As you say it´s all about to maintain focus and also not to forget some (military) discipline. 😀👍
@@NicGamz If you saw my painting desk "focused" is not the word that would spring to mind!
They look great, I have been using Steel Fist miniatures, they have a great range and are almost perfect scale match. Swedish Army looking great.
Thank you. I have to order my self some Steel Fist miniatures. 😀
Dessa ser... episka ut! Heh
Olyckligt att skalorna inte passade.
Tackar. Ja det var verkligen röven att skalorna inte passa ihop. Trodde det skulle gå, men icke. 😀
Looks wonderful this Swede army ! Fantastic work you have done . Bravo
Thank you. I hope I have the entier army done soon. 😀
Beautifully done, Nic! Fantastic work! I think, as you're transitioning from 28mm to 12/13.5 mm, you will find shortcuts that work for you. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see more.
Thank you. Shortcuts is very much needed if you want to paint up this huge army of Epic battles and get a game going. Just get them into tabletop standard will do fine. Problem is I always get stuck in the details, I can´t help it. 😀👍
They look fabulous Nic. The effect on mass is great. Older 15mm will probably work with epic, they do with the napoleonic and acw variants
Thank you. " Older 15mm " you say. I have to look into that. Cheers. 😀
