What if patients do not want you in with them? Isn't that their right? We are not okay with cnas, ma's or scribes in with us when talking with our doctor. Also do not think anyone lower than an Lpn should give shots or medicine. I will not undress for them or allow them in with me while exposed. Also we are not your patients. We do not hire you we hire and choose our doctor.

FL DP hate to break it you, Bertha, but YES YOU ARE OUR PATIENT AND EVERYONE WORKING IN THAT OFFICE! And just who do you consider “lower than an LPN?!” A medical assistant is trained in all aspects... in their scope of practice. We give injections, a lot of CMAs, including i, will stitch you up when you come into my office. I will be the one removing your stitches. I will be the one giving you your medications and explaining to you how to take them. I will be the one checking your vitals and drawing your blood. I will make sure I watch and observe you as I am taking care of you. If you should faint while you’re under my CARE, I would be the one to call a code and start CPR to save your life. Yep, that shit head loser MA, can save your life! Guess what, you’ll find the MA to be more caring than your beloved doctor. They are under a lot of stress and most of them relieve it by talking about their patients as soon as they walk out the room. You don’t want the MA in the exam room with you and the doctor, well, ya best be ready to help him with the exam and ya best know the names of the tools he asks for. Don’t want him sticking a vaginal speculum up your nose!!!

And.... MAs spend a minimum of one to two years in school. Guess how long it takes an LPN... 6 months or less. At least in my state. I got my associate in applied science degree and going back for my BSN.
LPNs Mainly work in nursing homes. If you are in a nursing home, ya best leave ya attitude at home because more than half of LPNs take that training because it’s quick and provides a paycheck. Nothing more, nothing less!
