The word awesome is often overused but when Brittany used it to describe this collection of spheres and eggs, it was absolutely appropriate. I tried to think which one I'd save if I had to pick one but it kept changing. The sunstone and moonstone. No, the septarian egg. No, the ocean jasper. No, the rutilated quartz. No, the labradorite. But I loved them all. I think we've all seen these kind of spheres and eggs before, and probably own at least one ourselves. But this video was above and beyond what I hoped to see when I saw the title. It was great to see how delighted Brittany and Rob were when opening the boxes too. I also learned about pink amethyst, which was new to me, so this episode was a joy all round. Thank you, folks. On a side note, whenever I hear the word labradorescence, my friend's smelly old and dearly departed retriever dog pops into my head, lying by the fire after a day in the woods almost visibly emiting 'stink lines'. I know it's spelled differently but I can't help thinking of the essence of labrador!
Those were some really outstanding spheres! I agree with the closer looks. That soapstone carving was fantastic! And that sunstone/moonstone sphere was just amazing! I would have picked the fluorite sphere i think. To find a fluorite, able to sphere is amazing and that one was just gorgeous, as were they all!
I love the spheres and eggs, all quite beautiful. I've collected 48 different gem eggs, all same size like a jumbo egg. They are fantastic. I love this stuff ! Thanks !
I simply LOVE the way you all explain things 💖 this was such a great video. I love watching behind the scenes / how things are made & shaped. Added so many things to my wishlist. Looking forward to an amazing gem filled year ahead 💎 Also sunstone ☀️ moonstone 🌙 omg perfection
I did now know that pink amethyst was a thing and I'm proud to say I have a SHIT ton of it. I have a lot of geodes from a spot with both amethyst and pink quartz, so most of the quartz you find there are actyally purple-pink ist with varying levels of iron/irradiation, Thanks for the knowledge!
I own so many fluorite spheres 😅 I was really shocked when you said you don't come across them often as they get sold here in Europe almost as often as moonstone or rose quartz spheres.
Great video.... but. I thought that most of the spheres especially the sun/moon stone shone so much better when held under the over head light and being held in the hand. Keep that in mind when editing 😉
The green soapstone looks like the Death Star. 😂 16:18 Funny story, I keep a semi clear quartz sphere on my desk as my “crystal ball” that I pull out when I’m asked a question that no one can possible know the answer for in business meetings. It’s consulted much like a “Magic 8 ball”. 😂
They just said wow. My mouth has been hanging open since they started!!! I have a skull, it has a crack on the face, but beautiful flourite... purple and green/blue...
Such a coincidence that there would be an episode on spheres 2 days after I bought a sphere. It's nothing spectacular. Just a clear 1 inch quartz sphere. It's for another idea though. When I was out collecting some downed limbs, I found one branch that split into a fork, but then one branch circled back around and grew into the other one. So the branch terminates with a perfectly grown hole. ----o , like so. I plan to stick the sphere in it and put a small LED in the base with a little hidden micro switch so it will light up. I will probably get some modeling putty and use to form around the sphere and hold it in place so that I can carve it in a way that it looks like a warty growth in the log with a sphere in it.
When I saw the first sphere, I thought it had pyrite inclusions, and when you turned it, I got confused. Turns out it was reflections from your square lights
All the balls are great. I wonder how psychics see the future in them…. Anyways, the ruby zoisite is my favorite. It’s just screams, “Everybody looks great in pink and green!” 🔮🤑💝💝🦄🎭🙏 Great show 😂💕
You guys are cute. 🤗 I appreciate you. I have a baseball sized quartz sphere that is water clear, but has the same sort of straight line through the middle as your larger one. It's a color separation band between the light smokey and clear zones. There is also a layer of scattered chlorite within the stone. It's from Brazil. I'm a life long crystal healer and I can tell you that it's one of the most powerful crystals that I have ever worked with.
Hi guys I enjoy seeing your videos! I have been finding this beautiful quartz an smoke quartz include in white quartz or tumaline…. could you help me identify them or commercialize? Thank you.
How would one tell the difference between a citrine sphere like this and a high clarity optical honey calcite sphere? I have a honey calcite sphere that looks very similar to this! Any key points to look for?
I’d suggest doing a video on the gemstones in the Resident evil franchise! Some of my faves include Spinel, Vivianite, and quartz, but I believe there’s more!
Preston said to comment his name so, here. Hi. Love from a fan from 🇵🇭. I really love your videos because it's packed with information! Also, idk if Gemstones have a TikTok account... but if not, PLEASE MAKE ONE. Preston is famous there! Found out that he works here during his live and I thought he looked a lot like Rob. Like a twin. Lmao. PS I hope I see Preston and Rob in one video because they look alike. 🤣✌🏼 PPS I LOVE YOU BRITTANY 💗
Is blue rose quartz, Girasol quartz and lavander moon quartz real? If these were real, are they a different variety of quartz or are they just low quality quartz being marketed as something different or rare?
Pink amethyst. He he. I about turned one of my amethyst geodes into a brown amethyst. I placed my new crystal on the counter next to the stove top. Brown spots appeared on the crystals as I fried zucchini. Hot oil droplets changed the color of my rock.
Appreciate the effort to go 21 minutes without making a "two balls" joke or something similarly immature; I'd never last 5 minutes. 🤣 I have to look for rutilated quartz now, as well as some other lovely stones. Very glad UA-cam randomly recommended me this video and channel.
I'm a subscriber to about 20 channels now on rocks gems and crystals cause I want to start collecting and making a living from it but no one ever says what the finds are worth or the investment it takes in equipment and tools.
Okay just hire me. I want this job playing with rocks. I’m great at puns and dad jokes. I have infinite space in my brain for rock facts (but surprisingly not for other things which makes me wonder if I’m… nm) I’ve never seen moon and sun in the same sphere.
Hello, I know a franchise made by Sanrio that is gemstone themed, and I bet it would be perfect for you to make a video about. It might even help more western audiences know the existence if it. If you are seeing this, would you like to know what it is?
@@gems Wonderful! Alright, here's the franchise. It's called Jewelpet. It is a Japanese and European exclusive franchise made by Sanrio and Sega Toys that features small magical animalistic creatures called Jewelpets. Jewelpets have eyes made out of a specific gemstone and can cast magic with said jewel eyes. There are 42 Jewelpets in total as of now, and each of them has a unique skill. Personally, I love Jewelpet, and seeing as how you guys do content that involves gemstones, including ones from popular media like the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic the Hedgehog and the Crystal Gems from Steven Universe, I'd love to see you talk about each of the Jewelpets and what each of their gems are. You can either make a full video covering all of the Jewelpets, or make a little timely series where you can talk about 6-7 Jewelpets in each video. You may pick.
I have several times responded to your wonderful videos and in response have been told that I was chosen to get your gift and to contact you right away to get my package. I have never responded as I assumed it was a scam. Was it? Some of the gemstone contact sites looked legit, but others had weird looking contact numbers etc. in them. Could you let me know if this is a “tac on scam” to your correspondence with me or legit? I have missed some giveaways if it was legit😢. Love your channel🥰
It was a scam. Unfortunately, someone swiped our logo and created a phony channel and responded to a lot of our commenters, pretending to be us. We reported them and deleted their comments as soon as we saw them, but they kept coming back with new phony channels. We aren’t doing any giveaways in the comments section and keep an eye on the channel name of whoever replies you. If it isn’t simply “Gemstones”, it’s not us.
@@gems Thank you so much for responding. I have great respect for your channel. Love the gifts of the music and video of gems that we all enjoyed. Will there be another, with names of the gems and minerals added? 😀
Truly disappointed you guys bought into the marketing term "pink Amethyst". That and claiming natural Citrine is just naturally heated Amethyst. To my knowledge, that is still only 1 theory which doesn't add up when the dichroic properties are looked at. Also, if that was the case, exactly how does Ametrine contain both Amethyst and Citrine in the same crystal where the colors are literally quartered?
You will not see a legit piece of ametrine that does not have one color inherently bleeding into the other color with perfect lines, they all have bleeding, because ground temps are gradual changes, some parts are hot enough, some aren't, some in between it may partially change color (this is why there is bleeding between the colors). It is not "just 1 theory", it is fact, they have proved it in multiple studies, being able to know the exact temps that the changeover in color occurs, how it occurs, why it occurs, etc.
@@rdizzy1 Yes, that's right. I have more ametrine pieces than I can count. None of them are 50% amethyst and 50% citrine. There's always bleeding. I do have some that appear to have a clean split, but still maybe 60-40% split. They are beautiful.

can we talk about how brittany was perfectly matching with the fluorite sphere lol

Oh wow, these were stunning! And I love how informative every episode is.
Loved the ocean jasper! The rutilated quartz was gorgeous! Too bad you didn’t show the UV reaction in that Septarian egg! I love spheres!
Loved every single one of theses gorgeous spheres 😍 & learned many new things thanks! 🤩
The Tiger's Eye was my favorite! They were all beautiful, thanks for sharing & giving so much info on them!👍❤🤗
I like the Rutile Quartz Sphere
Thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you.

I was really surprised you didn’t say that the potential inclusion in that huge sphere the beginning was possibly actinolite or an amphibole
I also have regrets not buying a jade ball like your soapstone ball when I went to china...
I have a chronic addiction to crystal spheres! None that big though!!
I actually liked the Citrine sphere most
My fave’s is the citrine and the white egg
I wish you would have put the uv light on that septarian dragon egg so everyone could have seen how it glows
Informative
I have soooooooooo many flourite spheres!!
I have a bunch of tiny skulls that are Ocean Jasper....
I just bought a 6 inch slab of pink amethyst!!!
lolololol. im dying listening to yall talk about cleavage. (from 8:00) he has no idea 🤣
