    this is interesting, i found it to be unappealing to the human scale. the buildings as individuals are very aware of human scale but the entire campus feels to be off.

    I went to graduate school at IIT. It is a terrible campus. No sense of place. No central places where people gather. It almost always feels barren and sterile. Yes, the buildings make nice postcard images, but as a place to live and study, it’s terrible.

      Is it really that bad? I'm planning to go to grad school there. I have seen mixed opinions about IIT.

    Hard edges, nothing to delight the eye. Sorry, Mies, but less is not more. It's just less.
