Catherine O'hara=the most diverse actress I saw growing up :) Love it
Catherine is such an amazing actor I love her. Her dialog is so funny, his character is so sweet and innocent. Hey paranoia is just ridiculous but I understand her. Putting the purse in the refrigerator and all of that is just funny
I love this! Great jobs Wigs! Catherine is a great actress
I liked it! I liked the way they portrayed what was going on in her head! The way she moved around the house and talked was well done. I could tell without her saying anything how "comfortable" she was with him in the house. Even the way she sat next to him on the couch!
God I love Catherine O'Hara, love her!
So great to see Catherine O'Hara! She is always such a delight. She has been a regular in most of Christopher Guest's films like Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman. She also had a recurring role in Six Feet Under as Lisa's neurotic boss. Check out some of her work, UA-camrs!! She never disappoints. She always plays these eccentric characters and plays these parts for all they're worth. One of the great uninhibited comedic actresses of our time.
LOL! Thanks. I just had to know. The phone definitely sets the era. And Catherine O'Hara is divine.
I love, LOVE, LOVE Catherine O'Hara SO much!!
As a person who sometimes feeds the homeless, I can completely relate to Leslie's inner dialogue. If we are going to get real here and do some inner reflecting there is always a war going on between our higher and lower selves. On one hand we want to be good people but inherently we are selfish and suspicious of others, and even the desire to see ourselves as good people is a way for us to try and feel good about ourselves, which is selfish in nature. Brilliant concept, Mitch! I LIKE it!
Love love love Catherine O'Hara. Very underrated, talented actress.
This is another great WiGS series. The best actors keeps on coming...Catherine O'Hara wow! Thank you!
I like the difference of this one! It's funny. Hearing her thoughts really makes this video.
I luv the inner dialogue. Wouldn't we all hope to do the right thing. Our fear is what stop's us.
you'd think she would relax after the first 200 times he surprised her with his niceness. lol.
Was trying to work out what I'd seen her in, being rather young and not knowing many classic actors, then I realised I'd seen her in Home Alone and suddenly I remembered all the films I'd seen her in ;) WIGS is amazing, so many of my favourite actors and actresses! Don't know how you persuaded them all, but bravo!
Sad state of affairs when this only has 23,000 views. Hilarious episode.
She was so painful to watch, XD Easily the most amusing of all your series so far
I love the music in this scene. It plays at all the right moments!
THAT CELL PHONE!! I almost died....
I absolutely love Catherine O'Hara... I was really glad to see her in one of these.
Oh, THAT jessie nesser! he he he!!! funny!
OMG SHE'S THE MOM FROM HOME ALONE
This is one of the funniest WIGS series. SEASON 2!!!! PLEAAAASE
Answer the phone woman!!! XD
Dude, your posts are epic. It seems you can really flesh out what messages WIGS are trying to show us...
LOL "DO you know Eddie Murphy"
Hey that's Dude-ess, bro! Thanks for the support!
LMAO!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing!
OMG! THAT PICTURE THEY SHOW OF HER IS FROM BEETLEJUICE!!!
I WANT THAT PICTURE!
I am enjoying the Wigs channel so much!!!
This episode is awsome! Can't wait to see more! :3
Very interesting episode! Cant wait to see more!
Brilliant production! Jessie Nesser! :D
Lol she just looks at it
LMFAAAOOO@"coffee be fine"
This is awesome and hilarious XD
Right on! Thank you for speaking up. I also loved Blue and often watch old episodes when I need a Blue fix. But it is just plain rude to whine and whinge on other videos that many artists poured their love into and just rail on about how you wish something else was playing. This is why people miss out on life. They don't see the magic that is right in front of them, because they are busy wishing they were somewhere else.
HAH! that's funny! good one!
2:46 Beetlejuice lol
i agree its a nice change to having to guess what is going on like with Christine
I think I am secretly in love with the intro tune
Exactly! Yet people are still constantly asking for more of past seasons instead of focusing on what's right in front of them!
Like the addition of a little humor.
Mitch Albom. He wrote and directed "Leslie". He is probably best known for his book, Tuesdays With Morrie.
Damn! I've been busted by the spelling police again!!! ;)
Love the episode! I also love how they slipped in a picture of her from Beetlejuice! Very clever Wigs!
Loved it. Too funny!
I know right! It was great! Can't wait to see the rest.
Spent a weekend watching them all. What a treat. Have fun.
JozieLeePro I actually started watching Lauren (mainly because my new favorite actress - Jennifer Beals - was in it & at first I thought she was Lauren because the thumbnail of the first video shows Specialist Jo Stone (Beals).) I loved Lauren & am starting Leslie.
Everybody stop using other vids to talk about which series you want back. Respect the other amazing programs wigs has to offer. If you really want a series back so strongly, go back to that series, comment on it again, and share it with your friends and family so that they can comment on it, like it, and increase the views! The more views and encouragement that specific series gets, the more likely the makers will want to expand the series.
HILARIOUS!!
Anthony "Cass" Castelow was also in Jan as Cass not Nello episodes 11 and 15, he is not homeless in that series and WIGS also did a "Behind the scenes of Jan: Cass Discovered". I feel he had experience and a relationship with Jon Avnet so they offered him the part seemingly the same way they have cast most of the leading roles through offers to actors who have previous experience with the director or writer of that WIGS series.
I really wanted to see the rest, Damnit ! I love Leslies character and her passion to get the part. I wonder what these two opposite characters will learn from each other. And in response to icyomoteyo as a black person myself Im NOT offended that the homeless guy is black, that dosn't mean his character won't be strong, and wise or have something to offer, lets wait untill the end and see.
I miss these shows! When will Wigs have all these shows (where's Blue?) streaming soon?!!
ha! I really liked this.
this is the guy from the pawn shop in Jan haha
Guys. Shut up about Blue. This is an awesome series. So far, I mean. They are in the process of writing the second one. They are still a lot of series to go, so freaking wait.
omg, thts the dude from Jan... sweet :)
Nice show, i quite enjoyed it
Anyone else notice the picture she had on her wall was her from the movie, "Beetlejuice" :)
I like this lady
Thanks!
Finally, someone used something other than an iPhone.
I love him. I just think he is cute and sweet.
"I slept in a theatre once, I felt safe too"
My point was that maybe, just maybe there will be a valid point as to why this character needs to potrayed this way, in the early days of WIGS I complained that they were not enough minorities in their shows and then later we got some, so I felt I spoke to soon, thats why I felt we should wait untill the end ton see how the story unravels. As a aspiring writer and african american woman that feels black people are sometimes protrayed in a negative light I definatley get your point.
I guess it took a "period" piece to do away with the product placement. It's funny how vintage those old phones look.
Yep, agreed. It's extremely rude, like going out on a first date with someone and your date says to you, "I wish I was with the girl I took out last week instead of you!"
Love this one...season 2 please.
yeah. I still think of her as the mom from home alone.
This guy was in Jan the first show... I liked it a lot.. I think hes playing the same guy...
2:46 That's her in Beetlejuice
yes. she was the actress in that movie, i believe.
Omg!! I wanted to see what was going to happen.
I think she's entertaining a Angel :))
Yes, he was from Jan, but he played the pawn shop owner that fed the homeless. Jan met him when she went looking for the Leica that Robbie told her he pawned.
What a cool homeless guy! lol
pick up the phone!!
"she so old now but i still love her"??? what the heck kind of statement is that! you my dear will be "so old" some day, i hope you consider realizing that growing older is not good nor bad, it just is.. heh
not at all, I feel that actors/actresses who are passionate about characters they portray in films or shows should gain first-hand experience in the role. Leslie is doing great!
Thats the pastor guy from Jannnnnn!!!!! ;D
Did anyone else notice that she speaks of Mother Teresa in the past tense as if she has already died, i.e: "she WAS a nun". If this is 1995, she was still alive. I believe she died in 1997, right around the time of Princess Diana's death.
"Yeah somebody's mother... Teresa"
Too funny
I love Wigs ;D
So far I like :)
It's the same actor, but an entirely different role. In Jan he is not homeless, rather he goes out to spread the message of hope to the down and out and feed them.
Intriguing...
Just as the story starts it tells you: New York, 1995
I don't understand why people aren't a little more blunt in these circumstances. That homeless guy should know that it's weird for a random person to invite him into her home, and she should know that it's sketch, so why aren't either of them less euphemistic about it? If I was her, I would literally say "listen, you know as well as I do that this is a tense weird situation, so don't do anything stupid and I'll be completely hospitable."
Mitch Albom has a new book coming out!!! :D Ahhh3
It appears that Cass and Mitch Albom are close friends and Mitch has profiled his story before. We don't know where this drama is headed, so it is a little early to make any sort of snap judgement. But he was also featured in Jan and in that series he plays a pawn shop owner who prays and goes out and feeds the down and out in LA. Let's give them a chance to tell their story before we villainize them. I am sure that Cass is happy to get an opportunity to act and spread the message of hope too.
Not sure I'm understanding..... I even googled it, and all I got were some links to some Facebook pages.....
I hope she gets the part.
She is the mom from Home Alone and she was in BeetleJuice
Yes there has. Jennifer Beals.
Daily Grace brought me here
ugh cliff hangerrrr
Did anyone notice one if the pics on her wall her from Beetlejuice? That had me super tickled.
Is it the pastor from Jan? This was cute.
No. The mother is Catherine Hicks. Catherine O' Hara is from Beetle Juice and Home Alone
In the trailer we see her with a box of donuts and repeating what he says about there being a bit of good within everyone if you look for it. She also has looks like M. Teresa with her head all covered in white. Maybe she ends up playing the role in real life...?
