Also, well, this timing is awkward: The build in this video was literally nerfed while I was finishing this video xD
It still works the same, but Magic Staff attacks slower now, thus less ramp up and less damage overall.
Still good imo, but not quite as OP anymore. Next video will feature a build that's from the current patch :P

I tried this game, and even though I don't like the character design (UI and items I have no problems with, it reminds me of Potion Craft) I have been having a really good time with it. It sure has a ton of depth to it! I like building out my selection of items and then looking at how it performs, analyse the results and keep tinkering to improve it. One of the better parts of the game for me is that it seems the get better and better the longer it takes!

Regarding your build: the mana generation was really good, i would have switched to a really high Yellow gem for attack speed to trigger damage of the staff quicker
That lamp might be interesting on a fast attack item, like a dagger.

I don't understand how Items combine at all
There are a few recipes in the game (not all items can combine, it is only very specific ones).
So you need the correct items and then place them next to each other in your inventory (they need to touch). After the next battle, they will fuse.
For example, Broom next to Mana Orb will fuse into Magic Staff after 1 battle.
