I trained under Prof. Clark in the early 2000's and he changed my life forever. he graded me for my Shodan when i was 13 and i couldn't have done it without him and Sensie Mick Marriot. made me truly weepy to watch. forever grateful for the opportunity to work under them both.
I always find it amusing how people focus on the bad points of someone's life, such and such was this or that they where part of a Freud etc. Soke Bob Clark was responsible for passing on a form of jujutsu that was and still is powerful and effective who gives a toss where it came from or what mistakes its founder made, martial arts masters are still human beings they make mistakes like anyone else but by creating the wjjf he gave many others the chance to better themselves and their lives and that should be his legacy. Domo Arigato Soke Clark
I remember watching him at Fazakerley as a kid with my mouth wide open at his performance and his general demeanour. I’ll never forget being about 8 yrs and just brimming with pride when him and John Steadman told me I was great in the demo I’d done with Sensei Kelly. Only just came across this video and learned of his passing. RIP (Simon Humph- wife’s account)
yet he provided stability and a way for children to express their selves through martial arts but lets not talk about the good stuff he did what wrongs things have you done does that discredit you ? he without sin throw the first stone? just a thought.

yet he provided stability and a way for children to express their selves through martial arts but lets not talk about the good stuff he did what wrongs things have you done does that discredit you ?
he without sin throw the first stone? just a thought.
and the fact that you say this on a tribute to him discredits your ability to be a human being.
