Nigeria 🇳🇬 is a fraudulent country and there are no truck parks in Nigeria. Corrupt politicians steals the money for construction of roads, bridges, Truck parks and hospitala
$145 for hotel accommodation of that standard?. It is really a treat!!! Cost of living in Nigeria is relatively cheap. And to be honest, insecurity is not as horrific in the country, contrary to popular narrative, as experienced and going by the fact that you rode solo over 800 km, from the south to Abuja, at the centre of the country. You also did not highlight how well planned and organised Abuja is, with it’s greenery, network of roads and captivating landscape. Wish you the best, for the rest of stay in Nigeria.
The Comments section is surprisingly more positive than I expected since a lot of the time when it is the topic of Nigeria many people break into a rash🤣(maybe i should give it time). Nevertheless thanks for this video I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Good video it is always a pleasure to arrive your destination after a long journey. Your Ktm motorbikes look new and they have been performing well so far i like the fact that it has a digital monitor that shows ground elevation how many meters above see level that you are riding. i was surprised that the Dangote factory was about 60meters above see level and Abuja elevation is about 490m above see level but Abuja weather is still very hot nice one. Nigerian federal roads are letting the country down.Dangote should fix the roads to his factory. He is producing cement,he's trucks are using the roads more than most people,he should at least do that as a social responsibility.Thanks.
Hi guys, nice video except the parts that were speeded up which don't give a realistic feeling of how you circumnavigate the dangers o the road. It also in parts looks like Max is having trouble keeping up with you Eddy and then having to abruptly brake hard to stop behind and not collide with you. Did you also know that KTM have gone into 'recievership/Insolvency, so take care of your bikes more as there are some problems in getting spare parts. Servicewise you should be ok but OEM parts might be hard to get hold of or take a long time to obtain. Enjoy the Hotel guys and Ride Safe.🤗
Yes it's true. We were there last year! We have a whole video on Our Introduction for Season 3 here ua-cam.com/video/zFdrU5qXbXU/v-deo.htmlsi=Av2sClfmpBHs_1k4
That route you take into Abuja is so rough. I know that our roads are atrocious but there are the major ones that are a bit drivable than these ones. These are probably among the worst in Nigeria. They look like they are along the region Itchy Boot takes in her adventure. I am glad you arrive Abuja in safe condition. Take good care of yourselves. Thank you, sir and ma'am.
You say the hotel cost $145, sir. Isn't that Sandralia Hotel in Jabi in the outskirt of Abuja? I have been there before and the executive suite is less than $80. Perhaps, somebody cheats you. Thank you, sir and ma'am..
Perhaps indeed. Seems you forgot our inflation rate the way things went within a year. They already knew the price before reaching the hotel, they might have booked online
When last were you here? May I remind you that prices and rates have gone up in the last one year, almost all over the globe, Nigeria no exception. In any case, can confirm from the rack rate at the reception or from the website.
@@akinjoaquim1013 This year with my cousin. How can the price just skyrockets like that? I don't believe it. Somebody robs him. This is the problem we have in this country, cheating. Shame!
This is Nigeria not Africa. South Africa, Mauritius, etc seem to have good roads. So not all of Africa. For your information, Nigeria is going through high insecurity in those roads despite the huge corruption. Actually, there are more brutal terrorists in Nigeria than Syria at the moment. So Nigeria is a very resilient country to be honest.
@@youme1414 even if the roads are fixed they won't last. We need to be using trains to goods transportation like how Canada is doing. Goods are being transported in Canada by two separate companies, the government pays for the transportation annually to ease burden on the roads.
@@Silver-l5x Terrorists can easily attack train like we have see in the past with Abuja -Kaduna railway line. It might remove pressure on the roads but not this kind used mostly by truckers.
@@youme1414 Abuja - kaduna is still functional till date. The train went off the tracks and it's still functional. The fact is that we need more passage and commercial goods trains. The U.S still use their old locomotive trains to transport goods. Nigeria is acquiring new trains but it seems they're just abandoning the old ones in a warehouse insteaded of being put to use.
Very poor infrastructure with mud rotted houses all over despite the very minerals scattered all over the country. Infact the only solution of nigeria is division 🤔
@@Eastcoast-oo7pj Like the other guy said, calm down mr negative. Tinubu only became your president last year. You've had presidents like Obasanjo, Goodluck and the likes before him. @victorakinola9871 point of correction tinunubbu is not my president he's an yoriba man just like you so you can defend him cuz of trabal inflation but believe me if you haven't gotten your Somalia visa try now before is late. That is Obajana Dangote cement factory. No sensible person will make use of that road. Jeez!
