This is definitely not where the rich live in Madagascar. It is regretful to see that people still live like this in so many places. Like yourself, I too like to venture off of the tourist path, and discovered how people truly live. It’s not all glitz and glam, such as where the tourists congregate, or where they’re taken on some tour bus. This is the real thing indeed! For what it’s worth, these people seem happy with what they have. It’s one thing to read about this in a book, and absolutely another, when one can see and experience it themselves in person.
