    Very nice walk-through of a solid system. No matter how you do it, do it from the START...record and document! Once its habit, everything gets a lot easier.

    How is the weather up there in vermont? Are trees starting to bud? Last Wednesday here in pa we get 58 degrees. And this past Wednesday it got 52 . last Wednesday my bees were able to get out on cleaning flight and this past they gotten in some fresh nectar and queens started laying again yesterday i looked in two of my six hives and found fresh eggs and three or four day larva this was the first of three yrs that i been bee keeping that i got bee through winter . Now its like wow awesome now what do i do yeah more challenge. Ty for your videos

    I have been attempting to become a bee keeper for a few years now and have question.
    Michael why do you removed brood from the colony and what do you do with the frames of brood?

      Michael use of nucs and removing frames from them to either build more nucs or add to existing colonies to increase bee numbers for overwintering or to have huge honey colonies or for cell building

    if it works for you its all good, i know what going on in my hives, but i do keep a book of things day time and years what has happen and swarms dates time and year
    ect what as strange this year bees swarm the very same month and days as last year and even about the same time The SHB starts to growing in population in middle of July until end of Sept.
