Not sure what you mean here. Buildings are made of concrete. Jamaica is big enough to absorb a building this size. The entire coastline will not be built out only a small portion and it brings in much needed foreign exchange for the country.
WHY THE JAMAICAN GOVERNMENT ALLOW THESE HOTELS TO BE BUILD SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH AREAS, WHY NOT CREATE A PARK LIKE SETTING IN FRONT OF THE BEACH THEN BUILD THE HOTEL.
This has always been a concern of mine especially when I observe and compare to resorts in Florida USA. Yes they have more acreage to leverage but that suggestion for a park is an excellent idea that I share. It could serve as a buffer zone in times of storm surges as sections of MoBay and Negril experienced in February 2024. I agree. Too close to the sea.
