Helpful to know there are 7 nuts and wiper set screw is 1/16 Allen wrench. The nut above the instrument cluster gave me the most trouble. I removed the cluster mounting screws, moved it enough to use a 11/32 socket, universal and 1/4" extension on the ratchet. Once the nuts are loose, a deep-well socket is useful to finger-loosen the rest of the way.
Great video. Where did you find the OEM New Old Stock Dash Pad? I am about to do the same replacement on a 1974 Ford F-250, but am looking at the LMC Dash-Pad replacment. Thanks for posting!
Thanks. It actually came with the truck when I bought it. We also sell replacement dash pads raybuck.com/product/1973-1979-ford-f-series-pickup-replacement-dash-pad/. The only group that comes to mind for the defroster vent might be Dennis Carpenter.
Oh, I am also looking for a defroster vent system. Mine is crumbling and no longer functional. Any idea who might sell a suitable replacement for the vents?
I got lucky and the nos pad came with the truck. We sell an aftermarket one as well on raybuck.com. Not sure about the defroster. I've been asked about that before but am not sure where to find it.
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much

Nicely done thanks so much
Thanks that was very helpful
Liquid wrench was helpful to remove the headlight knob.

There a button on top of the light switch push to get the job off
Thanks. Yeah, I figured that out after I finished this project. Knowing that ahead of time would have made this project a lot easier.
I took one out about 30 hrs ago and I don't remember taking all that stuff out . Wasn't easy but I got it
