My oldest brother passed away this past Thursday at 34 years old. He was a technical sergeant in the airforce. His name was Kyle Joseph DeLane. The beginning of this podcast really just made me wish more than anything I could share another moment with my brother. I looked up to him so much, it all feels like a terrible nightmare. Thank you for being there for me Theo, this podcast made me smile today man.

@Roland Deschain I can't speak on behalf of all Aussies but many Australians have Irish ancestry dating back to when Irish convicts were transported here for imprisonment during early European settlement. We are one of the most multicultural countries on Earth. All the Irish-born people I've met here have been friendly, funny and very intelligent/handy. The only bad press related to any Irish people I've seen is regarding 1 or 2 infamous Irish "traveller" families doing dodgy roof repair scams and the like but they often move between countries very quickly and it's not considered a stereotype. Really they are the same as everyone else. I can assure you Australians do not hate everyone but Australians. Immigration and tourism are the backbones of our economy in many cities.

i have an older brother of 4 years. im 27, hes 30 going on 31. i love him will all my heart. was raised without a dad so he took a big role in taking control in a "funky" environment. he is my best friend, even though i may not be his. he exceeds in everything he does without luck, but with pure hard work. this episode hit me hard, especially when you mentioned that your brother was somewhat a father figure to you.
