I had a Northstar lantern sitting on top of a propane tree a few years ago. I lit it and the whole thing burst into out of control flames, melting the plastic to the point that it was ruined. Good thing I had my fire extinguisher was within arms reach. Still, these are nice really bright lanterns. I bought a new one and to my surprise, the igniter actually works on this one!

It's nice to see someone using an old school lantern.I'm sick of seeing led technology even if it is better
