The problem is that it seems she made products that are perfect for a pale girl like Nikkie. She should have made a whole bunch of other colors for olives, brown skin, and deep skin people 😢
I see what you're saying. There's a strange kind of pastel/flat nature to them. Unfortunate. Maybe the thinking was the white base would help like it does for deeper tones on the eyes? Who knows. I don't like them. I'm
+ I don't really like supporting brands who still haven't taken care of our deeper skin tone friends (and in some areas super pale still needs a good deal of work too though we have a much easier time with blush and eyes and even bases, really though I'm 43 and still w/no shade match LOL).
I use their lip gloss or balm or whatever. I like the squeezy tubes and something about the fragrance and texture is sooo nice, one of my fave glosses sensory wise. Might just repurchase it if they still have it.
I didn’t even know she had a brand. It’s not popular and it’s obvious why. She was thinking of herself when coming up with her products not really being marketable to the masses
I actually like the blush on you. It looks two steps above natural "I woke up like this" blush. It's there and beautiful without looking like too much.
It would probably disappear in like two hours. Usually when I wear blushes that are that subtle they basically don't exist in a short time no matter how I set it.
The blush is very subtle, but it DOES show up on your skin and looks good! But the eyeshadow!!! If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was a Julia's Place pallet!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I have all of them but Hey Carl! I challenge you to try with the sponge she put in there...I bet they would show up more. In the box it says wet the sponge for a softer look and a dry sponge for a more intense look. When I did try it "her" way it did just as described...flawless❤
I’m very pale but my undertone is definitely yellow olive and I hate white pigment in my blush. It’s fine if your skin has pink or peach undertones, but on me it looks like Calamine lotion. I like translucent clear tones that let my natural colour shine through. It just looks more natural.
@@lesanimaux4416 Merit blush balms are great. Translucent but pigmented. But I’ve been using my favourite lipsticks as cream blush since my teens because I could never find the rusty shade I wanted in a blush. Wayne Goss uses lipsticks instead of cream blush. According to him, it’s basically the same formula.
Yea i mean the makeup makes sense for nikki tutorials bc of the way she does makeup. Shes defs not a sheer natural girly and defs does not let her natural skintone show through. So while it would probably be better with less whitr base for her next launches i would think its weird and unauthentic for her first ones to be the sheer translucent type.
Frankly, i looooove the effect of these blushes on you!! I absolutely love the more subtle finish (though I know that wasn't what Nikki intended, so there's that, lol).
I think the orange looked beautiful on your skin. It was very subtle, very elegant. I think if it went a little deeper, it would look a little cartoonish. It looked lovely in my humble opinion.
I actually liked the way the blush looked on you. It is VERY subtle. I'm about your complexion, and I would use the light pink blush for a more natural look. The eyeshadow is a must have cause that orange is orange-ing!!! LOL - All in all, Nikki should come out with more pigmented blushes for the deeper skin women who want blush that shows up & shows OUT. 🩷
I have! It's very hit or miss for me. I love the blushes, but I don't like the primer cream, the serum and the setting spray. I enjoy the palette and I also really like the lipgloss and the cooling eye stick. I love to support her, but I don't love every product she puts out. My skintone is very similar to Nikkie, and the orange blush is a little too intense for me, but it looks absolutely stunning on you! I hope she comes out with a deeper berry tone or something.
I like a subtle blush so I would be willing to try the first shade out, but if I was looking for a dramatic look I’d probably pick another brand. And the palette was just beautiful, no notes ❤
Omg so pretty i think if you try the blush with a wet sponge its for a more intense look and dry brush for a natural look id love to see if it makes a difference on how it shows but I love the soft glam look!!! And the eyeshadow !!!
I actually think the blush is perfect on you, cause I always thought blush was supposed to be a little natural-looking anyways! And it looks like it builds really well too!!
Gosh, that eye palette is so pigmented ❤ I think Nikki was trying to use the same principle of a pale base and intense pigment in that blush, to make the colors pop on all skin tones, but realistically there should just be a better range with deeper colors, because blush and eye shadow are two very different things-what makes an eye shadow bold and effective is not what makes a blush effective. Even if you layered that blush heavily, what you would have would be overly light but pigmented cheeks, which isn’t the goal. It would look clownish. And just look at that eye palette-it’s crying out to be paired with a cheek that’s candy apple red or midnight rose. A truly deep coral, to the point that you can’t tell if it’s pink or orange, no matter how lightly it’s applied (my personal fave). I think Nikki can and will do this.
That orange eye shadow color is GORGEOUS. I feel like I could see the orange blush but just barely. Like I could tell it was there but not as a blush. It definitely melted in.
You show so much 💛 love to Nikki, I am sure she will take notes of your opinions/experience and do better next release! And the orange is fire on you! Beautiful look!
Let me first start off by saying that I'm a fan of your videos and think your content is beautiful. I am really loving this base that you did on your face because it's a shade that matches your neck and chest much better than you had been doing (which I had commented on). Definitely the right shade for you now. So beautiful!
The blush is just subtle enough and just noticable enough on you. And the blue inner corner was breath taking. I will say the setting powder did diminish the pigment of the blush a bit but not too much. I think the blush would look stunning on you in one of those editorial glowy looks where it's mostly bare skin.
What’s interesting is that the blushes ARE pigmented, it’s just what pigment is in it? Like someone said, there is a really strong white base to it, so while you could pack it on to get more pigment for deep skin, it’s going to have like a brightening almost highlighting effect. Whereas if it had a clear base with even a similar amount of the coloured pigment it would probably look more natural on deep skin. With the white base it can look a little odd, but with eye makeup it definitely was still cute.
I actually liked how subtle the blush was😅 it melted into the base, so eyes or lips don't have to compete. It would be great for no makeup or minimal makeup
Omg I think the blush looked so beautiful on you, like you said it goes a bit to the natural look vibes but it does show and it’s GORGEOUS on your skin omg. Also now I wanna buy the palette literally just for this gorgeous blue shimmer
Girl… what did you do? You look 15 years old without makeup. HOW DID YOU AGE BACKWARDS?? WOW!!!! Your beauty has me speechless. It’s only been a few months that I haven’t watched videos and I’m absolutely shook. You look gorgeous!! 😍 You were always gorgeous but my breath hath been taken!!
I looooved the blush on your skin, very natural looking! The eyeshadow.... uhhhhhh girl, the orange WITH the shimmery blue? Faaaaab. And I know it's probably not a Nikki product but my god that lipstick color is gorgeous on you too!!
Oh Hey Ma!!!! 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾 It's been forever since I've commented. You look fabulous!!!!!!! Please let me know if I can get more lashes. Now on to my comment.....I love these!!!! I'm definitely going to pick these up. Nikki loves her colors to pack a punch and they definitely do. However, I get what you mean about your base and the blushes. Never even thought about that with cream blushes. They were still absolutely stunning on you. ❤
I own the eyeshadow palette and it’s insane! I can only recommend it, especially if you want that pigment. Like my skin is quite dark so it’s hard to find that type of pigmentation.
I was very concerned about the blushes because it looks like they have a white base which can look chalky and dull on darker skin. I was surprised with how pretty the orange shade ended up looking, but after setting it completely dissapeared so it wasn't pigmented enough. The peach shade is completely unusable for brown to dark skinned people, it's really only for pale white folks which I thought was rather dissapointing. If you're only bringing out three shades, all three should be usable for every skintone. The eyeshadow palette is gorgeous and very pigmented so I'm considering getting it myself, it truly looks wonderful on your skin (I especially love the blue shimmer, it is so pretty on you). So I'm definitely dissapointed with the blushes, I feel like there could have been more of an attempt to make shades that work on every skintone, but I like the palette a lot :-)
Maybe that blush blends pigmented in white and medium skin. The finish on black skin isn't bad but for sure would be better with a no make up look. The colors are beautiful, tho.
First time coming across your channel, love to see someone with such deep skin trying out such things! It seems like all the products out there are made for white or slightly tan skintones. the blushes have way too much white pigment in them. at least 1-2 of the shades should have had less of it! it dilutes the colour
Yeah, I agree. They could easily have been less white.

maybe I'm just not used to strong blushes but I didn't think it looked subtle at all.
Like it feels like a very bright blush on her skin for me
same thought
literally the whole video i’ve just kept saying “omg she’s so beautiful”
lol. Thank you
I like watching Nikki, I believe she would take this as feedback. Girl seems to love a challenge.
The blush doesn’t have enough pigment to be glam but it does give you a warm glow
I actually love the blush on you! It looks like glowing healthy skin. Very editorial with the dramatic eye.
Yes a nice balance
Forget about the blushes but that orange!! That orange!!
I agree! It looks so good 😍😍
