I went to Trattoria Al Forno last week for breakfast. I was looking forward to it, as they had many interesting dishes on the menu. I ordered the caprese omelette also! It wasn’t good, at all! I ordered my meal, and literally 2 minutes later it was brought to my table. That right there told me they weren’t “cooking to order”. The omelette was not hot, and neither were the potatoes. The cheese was in solid chunks, not melts at all…. You could tell that the omelette was made previously, and then kept warm. The restaurant wasn’t very busy at all, so you’d think the food would be hot/fresh. I don’t mean to complain, but when you’re paying Disney prices for a meal, there’s an expectation of quality, and Trattoria missed the mark for me. I’m hoping it was an “off” day, and maybe I’ll try again next time. Thanks for another awesome review! 😊
Oh no, that is terrible! Thank you for sharing your experience, that is very frustrating. There always seem to be reservations available here, and we've had really great experiences, and this was our first time where we were disappointed. I really hope they can get their act together, it's such a great location on the Boardwalk. The caprese omelette they used to have was amazing, it was more of an open-face omelette with marinara, fresh basil and parmesan, I loved it so much I tried replicating it at home.
Just went there yesterday and had the eggs al forno ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, AND WAS SO HOT! I have been dreaming of eating it again. Can not wait to go back. Good think I'm a florida resident
What a great breakfast and sometimes get a craving for breakfast pizza as well to be honest I haven’t eaten there since the Greek place, but perhaps we’ll get there soon!
I have yet to eat at Trattoria Al Forno but hope to someday. We had really wanted to have breakfast here back when it was a "Tangled/Little Mermaid" themed breakfast but would still love to check it out. I love the open kitchen too. Nice the food came fast, wow. The omelet does look like it needs more cheese or something in it. The sunrise breakfast pizza looks really good though. Great review!

Highly recommend the breakfast pizza, it was tasty! Seems like you can always get a reservation here pretty easy too!

We never had the chance to eat there when it was a character dining experience either, that would have been fun! Highly recommend the pizza!
