+The Aspiring Depends how you look at things.. THOUSANDS of kids get balls from players at games, but he'll always have a great story to tell when he gets older... plus i'm sure they gave him another ball too 😂
I could almost forgive an outfielder - they're out there imagining how to spend their money - but I'd like to think a _pitcher_ could store that somewhat important information!
On my baseball team we always communicate how many outs there are. Among infielders, outfielders, and base coaches to runners. Obviously MLB is a marathon sport, nearly a game every day for 6-7 months, and men are bound to get tired and forget these things from time to time. It just helps to communicate outs.
It's really weird when you see the middle infielders or catchers forget, since they're the ones who generally most have their heads in the game as far as baserunner/outs situations.
the best ones are outfielders throwing bullets back to the infield on 3 outs, because its still kind of silly and embarrassing for them, but everyone can laugh it off instead of costing the team anything.
That was pretty clever showing Encarnacion prancing around second for his extra base to third as the beneficiary of a mistake, and then in the very next clip getting picked off second base as the goat!
Yeah...the Dodgers have always attracted some really stupid players. Also, southern California is not known for intelligence either. The celebrities themselves lower the ave IQ of the area by at least 50 points.
They have a massive scoreboard in the outfield and digital displays in the stands that tell the number of outs. This is just airhead ego behavior not paying attention, and I hope they were chewed out by their managers after the game
i have no respect for Cano as a baseball player anymore. Too much shit like this. Then there's no remorse after the fact. In fact, he's so chill and nonchalant about how he plays the game, it's actually COOL that he forgot. He's real hot shit in his own mind
Let's say a outfielder mistakenly tosses a ball into the stands with just one or two out. A runner sees the mistake and tries to advance. A fan catches the ball and realizes that there are not three outs. The fan throws the ball in toward the infield to an infielder who catches it and tags or throws the runner out. Is the runner out? In other words can a fan in the stands make an assist?
I knew about that rule, but wait, taking the ball away from that kid was actually pointless? Or was that a completely different situation? I absolutely love baseball, but it can get complicated sometimes xD
Watching baseball from the mid 60's through the 1994 season. Don't recall seeing so many players not paying attention to the game. Don't they care or are they just plain stupid?....This is truly pathetic.
The ones where there are already 3 outs are hilarious but you gotta love the effort! The ones where there are only 2 outs are pathetic and embarrassing. That's their job to know the basics of their profession.
It's hard to have a game like every day or two how like 6 months. It's bound for the mistakes to happen. Like a missed tackle in football. They train all year and it still happens. It's life
That Montreal player went back to the girl and talked to her. She probably got something by the end of the game. Now the Mets outfielder that probably doesn't speak English most likely did not give a fuck.
Better to throw the ball in when there's 3 outs than to forget to throw it in when there's 2 outs
Yeah I really disliked how the commentators gave a player grief for being too ready... Give the man credit for being safe when he's unsure : \
I agree
That guy took the ball back from the kid😂😂😂
I wonder if he got an another one. 😂😂
Lmfao
LOL, never noticed Agbayani taking the ball away from the kid as if he could actually recover and get the out
Lmao feel bad for the kid
Stevo935 I saw that too and i laughed so loud 😂
Stevo935 and the Kid's parents shoving the kid to give the ball back 😂😂😂
0:58 Wow, not only did he forget about how many outs there were, but he grabbed back the ball he just gave to that kid.
Isn't that terrible
That's so sad
+ Cy Young Sam they got him a another ball I was at that game and the kid was happy again.
Most likely after that inning the kid got a free baseball anyway
+The Aspiring Depends how you look at things.. THOUSANDS of kids get balls from players at games, but he'll always have a great story to tell when he gets older... plus i'm sure they gave him another ball too 😂
Unreal how often this happens. Loved Marisnick running all the way from the outfield to first base to make it unassisted
Hey, it's okay to throw it in quickly from the outfield on the 3rd out. Better safe than sorry.
I could almost forgive an outfielder - they're out there imagining how to spend their money - but I'd like to think a _pitcher_ could store that somewhat important information!
Lol good one
Hi
Bob The Balloon Guy haha roasted😂
I like how each one is either funny or tragic, depending on whether there were 2 outs or not.
Tbh when I'm in the OF I always forget how many outs there are... Always play like there's 1 out 😂
Always gotta be ready just in case you need to use the best tool an outfielder has, the good old janitor throw
better than just chucking it into the stands on less than 2 outs
+Dustin Brown yup. And it's not like I have a million scoreboards I can turn and look at to see how many outs there are
I played in a semi pro stadium for high school but they never turned the scoreboard on for us.
On my baseball team we always communicate how many outs there are. Among infielders, outfielders, and base coaches to runners. Obviously MLB is a marathon sport, nearly a game every day for 6-7 months, and men are bound to get tired and forget these things from time to time. It just helps to communicate outs.
Same
Yeah try to communicate that when tens of thousands of people are making noise.
+Mr. Baseball12 Obviously you've never been to a Braves game
Zach N I'm a Twins fan so I assume it's a similar situation.
+Mr. Baseball12 Either way, you can communicate despite the crowd noise. They always quite down in between at-bats
In the beginning he took the ball back from the kid😭😭😭😂😂
and he didnt even give it back after!
he threw it into the infield
When it happens with no-one on base it's funny. When there's a base runner, not so much.
Its funny when you're up by 4 or more, not much when you're up by 3 or less
lol its crazy how bias you are...
How is that bias?
i love all your vids never stop making them they are the best thx again.
Ouujoujiihlkkjjkd. C. Cdcdcdccs scscscdcscdc d d ccccc ccccc.
You forgot a letter.
Milton Bradley's one was the best. He was chillin so long he looked like he was trolling
You gotta think he feels bad for taking the ball from the kid at 1:15
1:00 I'm dying hahaha! dude took the ball back!
I never notice how much David Wells looks like the Big Show
yeah kinda
LMAO WHEN HE TOOK THE BALL FROM THE KID 😂
As an ump, I am SO glad to know that even MLB players and umps forget how many outs there are!
I would love to see an outfielder try and fake a runner out by acting like he forgot and then throwing him out trying to advance
do u know how hard it would be especially because he is in the outfield
Kevin H True, you would need to have like a JBJ arm to even think about it and they would never even try unless it was a blowout,
It's really weird when you see the middle infielders or catchers forget, since they're the ones who generally most have their heads in the game as far as baserunner/outs situations.
the best ones are outfielders throwing bullets back to the infield on 3 outs, because its still kind of silly and embarrassing for them, but everyone can laugh it off instead of costing the team anything.
Lmaoo the kid parent either shoving him to give the ball back or telling him why he gave it back 😂😂😂😂
Ok...... But can we talk about how filthy that pitch at 4:35 was
You should find some clips of umpires forgetting the count of the batter in the at bat and put it into a vid
Always better to try to get the fourth out, than to throw the ball into the stands after the second out.
Look at the scoreboard people, look at the scoreboard...
Arav Bhatt exactly
Sometimes they can’t see. that’s why the outfielders have to hold up the fingers to signal.
Sometimes it's wrong. ua-cam.com/video/4qKWMgs4HG4/v-deo.html
That was pretty clever showing Encarnacion prancing around second for his extra base to third as the beneficiary of a mistake, and then in the very next clip getting picked off second base as the goat!
wasn't there one when Reyes was on his original stint with the Mets. I remember that one.
Seems to be a common Dodgers mistake.
More like angels
Must be a LA thing
Ya go Giants
yep giants
Yeah...the Dodgers have always attracted some really stupid players. Also, southern California is not known for intelligence either. The celebrities themselves lower the ave IQ of the area by at least 50 points.
Do they need the PA guy to say how many outs there are??
They have a massive scoreboard in the outfield and digital displays in the stands that tell the number of outs. This is just airhead ego behavior not paying attention, and I hope they were chewed out by their managers after the game
These moments are always funny...when they happen to someone else.
I love the Jamie Campbell call with Gregg Zaun running and being thrown out at 3rd
3:00 - 3:17
This occurred late in the 2015 season. I remember the series well. The next game Anthony Gose was benched.
i have no respect for Cano as a baseball player anymore. Too much shit like this. Then there's no remorse after the fact. In fact, he's so chill and nonchalant about how he plays the game, it's actually COOL that he forgot. He's real hot shit in his own mind
My little league coach made us know this important thing about remembering the number of outs. These multi millionaires cannot be bothered o remember.
Happened to me my freshman year of high school. Never stopped getting crap from team for 4 years :/
Damn
Who is the commentator at 5:07? Absolutely love his voice.
I nearly took off the first basemans head attempting to turn two after the third out...
Lmaoooo the mets outfielder gave the ball to the kid and took it right out of his hand when the play went on
I remember when I was playing 3rd base and I thought I was a runner so I ran to home n forgot there was a play in 3rd😂😂😂
These videos are great thanks for making them.
If an outfielder catches it and throws it in the homerun section it should count as a HR
Lol I just love it when this kind of stuff happens.
I like the ones where there is two out and the outfielder throws it in as to get some one out lol
No because if a fan touches the ball it is a dead ball and the runners advance 2 bases
Thanks.
And to make matters worse, the fan will probably get escorted out of the game for throwing something on to the field.
I knew about that rule, but wait, taking the ball away from that kid was actually pointless? Or was that a completely different situation? I absolutely love baseball, but it can get complicated sometimes xD
@@ricardogadelha5003 yes. The ball was dead as soon as the kid touched it.
0:46 is the funniest
It's more embarrassing when this happens when they're on the field with runners on base with less than 2 outs
Can't forget to get that triple play with two outs.
lol not true but k idiot
its worse when theres still 2 outs and they keep the ball while the baserunners run
***** thanks
When there's nobody on base or it's inning over it's funny but when the inning continues it's just painfull to watch
Ghost Duke Vladamir if the inning ended giving the ball to the fans wouldn’t matter
@@sticksflicks1 that's exactly what he said.
This video was certainly needed!
What about Jordy Mercer making sure Jung ho Kang threw it to Neil walker for a triple play?
Watching baseball from the mid 60's through the 1994 season. Don't recall seeing so many players not paying attention to the game. Don't they care or are they just plain stupid?....This is truly pathetic.
0:50 I hope they gave the ball back to the kid after the inning lol
He probably like 16 now but yeah
The ones where there are already 3 outs are hilarious but you gotta love the effort! The ones where there are only 2 outs are pathetic and embarrassing. That's their job to know the basics of their profession.
It's hard to have a game like every day or two how like 6 months. It's bound for the mistakes to happen. Like a missed tackle in football. They train all year and it still happens. It's life
U should always be paying attention so you don't mess up like these guys
7:52 why was that play on here? 1 out and they got the double play. Inning over, what I miss? That was perfect.
A player thought it was 2 outs still.
A player thought it was 2 outs still.
3:00 - Finally, Anthony Gose helping the Blue Jays win.
Forgetting the number of outs is quite less glaring/ LOL when there are baserunners involved.
How. do you find these videos on sports what website?
Imagine doing it in the bottom of the 9th when it's tied with a runner on third.
I was on first base and I forgot there was only 2 outs so I started walking into the dugout and they tagged me
My dad was screaming at me 😭
0:59 that poor kid xD
That guy is like: "Oh I'll do this for prosperity... here ya go kid...
.... wait a min... WAIT.... GIMME THAT BACK NOW KID!!!!"
Has anyone ever thought it was three outs when it was really one out? That would be really bad.
David wells was drunk 😂
You dont deserve to be in the MLB if you cant count to 3.
Great creativity
That dude took the ball back from the kid.
I haven't begun watching yet, I'm preparing myself for maximum levels of cringe
3:01 encarnacion hit 3 homers that day
Who thought the commentator sounded like peter griffin at 9:50
@2:23 Steven Anderson let us all down.
Arkansas garden snake.
These mistakes are funnier when there no one on base or there are actually 3 outs. Otherwise it’s frustrating.
Thought it was funny when Canó didn't turn the DP
Rip Jose Fernandez. 👏
dude on the mets was pissed
If only there were scoreboards EVERYWHERE.
taking the stuff off in the box... classic
What's funny is is that they have an electronic scoreboard that they can always look at
If you're outfield, the board is behind you.
If you're infield, you're not paying attention to the board anyway.
Shit happens, even when you're paid millions you can have a brain fart too
is bradley's 2nd one on the cubs a home run?
DOH!!
There were so many with the Angels 😂😂
1:06 Maaaate you don't take the ball BACK from a KID at that!!! Fucks sake.
me relating to this makes it 10 times funnier
An unwritten rule says:
Do not give balls to fans during a play
The Matsui one is the best one.
FOCUS PEOPLE, FOCUS!
2:45 lol
Why would the outfielder take the ball back that he gave to the kid
I don't think the kid would want the ball from they play that his team royally screwed up on
That Montreal player went back to the girl and talked to her. She probably got something by the end of the game. Now the Mets outfielder that probably doesn't speak English most likely did not give a fuck.
don't the outfielders see the outs on the scoreboard really
This is the most painful video I have ever seen... I am physically cringing in my seat at the thought....
not counting outs is METAL
Did that guys just get hit in the nuts at 4:36?
No
THE GUY TOOK THE BALL FROM THAT KID😥😥😥😥😂😂😂😂
How do these players make millions of dollars and don't know how many outs there are?
Like half of them do the rock on sign after haha? why is that?
I love how many of these threre actually are
Ikr
4:11, did he really forget the outs??
