- The complete Boss VE 20 bocal performer foot pedal setup tutorial part 1.
How to adjust the microphone volume, how to turn on or off phantom power, how to setup the outputs, how to remove low frequency mic hum and ambient noise, how to set the looper mode, how to adjust the display brightness and how to set the key scale for harmonies.
This is the way a tutorial should be done. No baggage or life story added.

is it possible to have reverb active and with one stomp ad radio effect?
Well, I guess I've been using it "not quite" the way it is intended! TY for clarification.

Very good video! A question: can I turn on this pedal on my keyboard? It's just that my keyboard has a microphone input, and its speakers are very good, so I don't need a mixer or an active box. But my keyboard doesn't have a harmonizer. So I wanted to turn on the microphone on the Boss pedal, and the pedal on the keyboard. Is it possible? Will the effects come out on the speakers of the keyboard?
Note: my keyboard is a Yamaha SX700

Thanks 😀👍
To use the Ve20 with your keyboard you would need to plug your mic into the Ve20, then plug the output from the Ve20 into your keyboards mic input (so the Ve20 output is sent to your keyboards speakers). There is no way to control the Ve20 remotely so you would need to use the Ve20 foot switches to change patch/fx.
@@IbandUK thank you. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Im playing the saxophone and would like to use the VD20 to be able to use the foot pedal to swtich between basic reverb setting for when Im doing riffs in the band and a setting with extra reverb and higher volume for when im doing solo - need the foot pedal as my hands are busy working the saxophone. Need to be able to swith back and forth. Is that possible? :-)
@jakoboutzen9543
Hi, to do this you would need to set up two sound patches, each one with a different reverb level, then hold down the harmony food switch for 3 seconds to switch the pedals to sound patch mode. Now you can use the 2 foot switches to change between the two sound patches, so effectively change the reverb level.
Is there any way this can harmonize only major chords, or keep the intervals identical from note to note. I don't want it to follow the key I set it to. I want to be able to sing D and have it sing a D major chord, then when I move to a Bb I want it to sing Bb major, and 2 of those notes don't fit into the key of D. Is there a way you can set part 1 to be a major third always, and part 2 to be always a perfect fifth? I can't be restricted to diatonic backup vocals. How can I get this thing to harmonize D, D/C, Bb, A all major chords as I sing the roots?
@yack1415
If all the chords are not in the same key, you would need to be able to set harmony to chromatic but the boss Ve20 does not have that option for harmonies (only for pitch correction). The only workaround I can see would be to setup different presets in different keys and set the Ve20 foot switches to preset mode and use the foot switches to switch between presets as required, which would probably be too complicated.
Hey can u make a tutorial on how to remove breath/air noises which are caught in the recording in bandlab? Lots of love
@ir.1s_sshi
OK 😀👍
part 2 ???
Can I switch between two different effects while using one microphone for saxophone and singing and then turn off the effects while talking into the mic?
@Joseph124269
In normal mode, the left foot switch switches by pass mode on/off (fx on/off) and the right foot switch turns a chosen fx on/off. In program select mode the left and right foot switches move back (left) and forward (right) through the programs.
So, if you use program mode, you could set up three programs, one with no fx and the another two with different fx setups. If these three programs are consecutive (say programs 60, 61 and 62), you could then use the foot switches to move between the three programs with just one or two taps of the foot.
@@IbandUK sounds great 👍. Thank you 😊.
