Thank you for this Video tutorial, I have the same HP PC 8300 and my own does the same as described in in your video. It blink Red light when I connect it to power so am gonna go get the right charger 135A -19.5V . Hope it works. Thx and God bless u 🙏❣️
Good video, thank you. I have HP Compaq Elite 8100 SFF, I took out 2 - 2GB RAMs to store to buy 2 - 8GB, they won’t connect as I found after opening box they are DDR4. I connected old RAMs but now having red light and continuous beeping amd no display, I have wireless mouse and keyboard. I have this desktop for 5-6 years now Windows7
Reinstall the old RAM: Ensure that the RAM is properly seated in the slots. Sometimes improper seating can cause beeping and red light issues. Make sure you press firmly enough to ensure the clips snap the RAM in place. Check the RAM compatibility: The HP Compaq Elite 8100 SFF likely uses DDR3 RAM, not DDR4. DDR4 RAM is not backward compatible with DDR3 slots. Make sure to use DDR3 RAM sticks. Reset CMOS: Sometimes, resetting the CMOS can help resolve boot issues. To reset the CMOS, you'll need to locate the CMOS jumper on the motherboard and follow the instructions in the user manual. This will reset the BIOS settings to their default values. Disconnect peripherals: Disconnect all peripherals from the computer except the monitor. This includes the wireless mouse and keyboard. Sometimes, conflicts with peripherals can cause boot issues. Check for hardware failure: If the issue persists, it's possible that there could be a hardware failure. This might be related to the motherboard, CPU, or other components. In such cases, it might be necessary to consult a computer technician for further diagnosis.
Hey bro my hp Desktop 8300 elite tower keeps making 4 beeps with a red light...tried everything but nothing seems to work...I've researched and most of the blogs say it could be a power supply issue...the fans won't spin too...any ideas on what might be wrong
From what I know the when the pc makes four beeps it got to do with power supply brick not having enough power to run the system, make sure your power supply is the same rating as the power specification written on the side of the computer. It would be easy to check if you have multimiter. If your power supply worked before it could be because power supply got faulty. Try to replace it with the right power rating.
@@Yo-Bruh look at your hp computer on the side of it it will show voltage and amperage rating for example 19.5v 5a. Your new power supply should have same specification

1. Check if the power supply unit (PSU) is working properly. If the light on the back of the PSU is flashing, it should not flash with all connectors removed. Plug the power cable into a different power outlet that is known to be good. If the LED still flashes, the power supply should be replaced ². 2. Disconnect everything from the computer, including the power cord. With the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the front of the computer. Plug in the power cord to see if the computer automatically turns on. If it does not, the PSU may need to be replaced ⁴. 3. If the above steps do not work, try resetting the CMOS by locating the little yellow clear CMOS button inside the case near the coin cell battery. Press and hold that button down for about 15 seconds. Then hook everything back up again ³.
