Jnmaniac1 No. Just no.
@@jnmaniac1393 Would choose him over anyone between 96-2004. One of a kind, he played hockey like it was no tomorrow. That passion is unseen today. While other talented players like Lemieux, Jagr and Sakic were only point producers HE did it all out there.
He is top 5. Give me Forsberg over Gretzky any day.
@@hugh2hoob668 Who cares about goalscoring if you can produce assists?
Quebec Nordics! Yay a team that I wish would come back so I could root for someone.
Or you could make your life much easier and root for the Avs.
S Choudhry Come on it’s really not the same
1:35 is just bonkers lol
Classic Forsberg. He did it all the time and the one coming to hit him was newer ready for it :)
I grew up with the Avs, and I'm SO glad we got peak Forsberg. What a nightmare he must've been to play against lol
American toughness - loud, roaring and in your face.
Swedish toughness - Iron within, Iron without.
Probably could have been a top 5 player of all time had he stayed healthy.
But still being top 10 all time in PPG despite playing his best years in the dead puck era is pretty crazy.
The great Peter the Great.
+238 he never had a plus minus rating in his entire career nobody will ever break his 31 points in 7 games record NO one enough said.
Forsberg, the guy who should have been a flyer and lead our city's team to at least one cup. But no....i never liked lindros because of that trade. Always loved forsberg
Legend Peter
Eric Lindros is still my favorite player ever, but getting rid of Forsberg was the biggest mistake the Flyers ever made...And there's alot of mistakes.
Tuna, yeah *Lindros* was my favorit player too
Best mean power forward to play the game

Best player ever
Easily the best two-way player in the world.

I was a Quebec fan, and in hindsight, JUST Lindros for Forsberg would have been a fair trade. Incredible how much Quebec/Colorado got. (Forsberg just felt like an afterthought for me when the trade was originally announced).
It’s not everyday you can say the trade was fair. Even though I would pick Peter but both became leaders and hof. Both used their bodies and didn’t think twice which ended both careers early. Both styles mirrored each other except forsberg had more success with the cups.
"No no, I like it" hahahha
As a big Red Wings fan I was always terrified of Forsberg. The only swedish player that was better was Lidstrom which says a lot.
Anyway I will take Forsberg over Lidstrom.Any coach or gen.meneger will pick super forward over super defender
@@gialeviashvili6328 I see your point but Lidstrom is, at worst, the second or maybe third best defenseman of all-time. The only ones mentioned with him for all time greatest defenseman are Bobby Orr and sometimes Ray Borque. Though Forsberg was very very good I don't think people are putting him in such exalted company. Even if we account for the importance of forwards over defenseman Lidstrom's all-time, generational ability still outweighs Forsberg's.
@@Jon.A.Scholt So you would pick Lidstrom over Forsberg on your team?Really? No way
It's a shame Peter never played as long as he could have
Peter Forsberg play hard like Peter Statsny does!!!
2:26 Forsberg vs. Lidström xD
Right? It's a shame we didn't get to see more of that..
The stuff of legends
@@GrassValleyGreg probably bc its one of the very few times it happened lol
ua-cam.com/video/hcyv63DV0Fg/v-deo.html We swedes experienced this classic olympic gold medal game with so many legends on the ice at the same time. (Both Finland and Sweden best players)
peter the great
Imagine the points he would get if not everyone was aiming for him, and he didnt get those injuries 😮
Alfred's son should have been on the top 100
alfreds son? hahaha
The son of Alfred? Al? Alfred's Son? Or perhaps... Daniel Alfredsson?
The best Ever!!
Мой самый любимый швед с глазами волка!
You have a ruptured spleen. Screw that. I've got a game to play! - Peter Forsberg
The swedish player have an so much strong, speed, skill and power like Canada players for an example:Niklas Lidstrom(Huge slapshot, strong and tall)...
Greatest Swede after Lindstrom.

I know and congratz on the win, Finland rules, intelligent hockey, respect!
Look at that unique playing style. The entire opposing lineup is just constantly trembling under the utterly relentless Forceberg pressure and drive
Peter said in Swedish TV, that the best player, he had played with, was Joe Sakic...
He also said: "Jag är så grymt besviken på Börje, han är så jävla dålig!" xD
Forsberg and Roy on the same team at the same time... with Sakic? As an opposing coach how do you script that game?
He played hockey as hockey should be played full force attacking fair play.
He got traded in the Eric Lindros trade so he was originally drafted from Philadelphia and won 2 Stanley Cups with Colorado. And Lindros didn't win the Stanley Cup. He made his choices.
Go Avs!
The man absolutely danced Lidstrom at 3:20
All time All start Five: Hasek, Orr, Lidström, Forsberg, Lemieux, Gretzky. The one I am least sure about is Gretzky 😁
Wow really ???? How about Shanahan LW. Yzerman C. MR Howe. RW. Vladdy and Lidstrom on D with Sawchuk in net. Let’s play !!!
@@sammyweed4771 We agree on Lidström at least 🙂
Dude Love 99 and 66 but they would be laying on the ice with Howe and shanty and Vladdy out there. Forsberg and Orr the only ones who could hang
